@Forlorn: No, you roll for chests. They're locked on 5-6.

@Olothontor: It's quite enjoyable so far. Keep up the good work.

I'll spend my turn looting the corpses & the chest, if possible. If the chest is locked, well, I can't really do too much about that. So I'll open the door to the west.

I go east two spaces through the door, then spend 1AP to use Quick Strike to attack the creature in front of me with my Sword. That is, if I counted grid squares right. If there's 3 between us, disregard the Quick Strike portion.

Okay, it's different for those two cases.

Weapon's H are hit bonuses. You roll d6 + Attribute + Weapon's H. So a sword (R1 D2 H0) would involve: 1d6 + Strength + 0

Monsters, on the other hand, do damage on those rolls. So a Kobold has H1-2; if the 1d6 falls in that range, then it does D damage.

Second battle of kidko's house

So, we're back after some song-composing with another Brikwars battle report! Olothontor and I faced off our two armies, this time with actual building walls. And a canyon. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y38/kidko/Brikwars/2010%207%2028%2001/00001.jpg Overwatch of the battlefield. My forces are on...

Zombie Survival

Olothontor and I are going to be doing a series of battles today/tomorrow, and here's the first one. Olothontor and I each had a minifig, surviving the zombie apocalypse in a museum. We used Dr StrangeBrik's Zombie AI rules for our zombies. Our battlefield was a bunch of paper, since I don't have en...

It's fun, and I've played it, but I never saw a reason to buy it. The levels seem really repetitive, and the build-your-own mode only leads to idiotic (but fun for a day) devices/vehicles.
