Re: I have a question about vehicle claws.

Lemme think grabbin' stuff... Needs to be grabbed? Walk up and grab it. You can't move or attack, he can't move or attack, have a tango. Stop being grabbed? Standard attack to shove him off, you get to move but no more attacks that round. Grab something bigger than you? What? WHY?! Congrats, it'll c...

I, an ancient lurker of the forums, live in the same state as you. It has been many years since I have taken up dice in combat and wish to feel the excitement and wonder of turn-based strategy once more. But in all seriousness I'm south of you, in Champaign/Urbana. Hours away for a measly game such ...

Shotguns, flamethrowers, cone of cold, etc.
All should use any templates handy at the time as long as everyone agrees the template used is fair.

Otherwise its 6 inch long, 3 inch spread in my book.

My sig-fig, Manly McAwesomepants, has yet to live to the end and is usually the first to die. I think last time he jumppacked onto an APC, chainsawed everyone in there, then drove it into an enemy mech. The resulting explosion took out a quarter of the town. Think "Leroy Jenkins" meets the "Awesome"...

Teddy Bear
Accent: None / Cute-sty / Hellish-Demonic.
Heroic Feats: Soul-Eater. On a successful short range attack, the Teddy Bear sucks out and consumes target minifig's soul. Hero minifigs can resist with a better Skill roll than the Bear.

Range could stay the same, but the cost is definitely going to get spiked.

Possible changes to how range is made?
Long barrels for long range.
Wide barrels for high damage.

After play testing the new rules on Saturday, I've found 2 things: 1: The play testing age limit is 13. 2: The new rules are easier for a Size 5 weapon to completely decimate the four opposing sides. Size 5+2=7 UR with a hero in the cockpit. He didn't hit too many times but he did target the exlpody...

Hmmm. I suppose the idea is easier to compute. Before this I compensated larger use ratings for being "designed to hit larger things", so the size of the target was added to the Skill roll. With this the compensation rule gets thrown out (who needs more rules anyway) and the price stays the same. I ...
