Re: Lego doodles POST THEM

Thank you so much for your advice! The lego tank you linked was a direct inspiration for the first castmate. I enjoyed the studded armor of the original as it reminds me the work ghibli more but i feel as though the second version is the better tank with far superior lines. the reason why cheese sl...

Re: Lego doodles POST THEM

Late night lego ramble inbound... Small Project to pass the time! So I recently rewatched Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and i soon fell in love with the Tolmekian tank design! so I decided to build my own in lego. Here are my reference pictures http://www.johnmsteele.com/wp-content/uploads/2013...

Re: New sets discussion (2014/15/16/17)

Makes me feel validated in thinking that Bricks is a relevant and productive forum with lots of interesting posts.

Next time I go to the supermarket with my friends I might impress them by feeling up some bags of lego.

This looks super slick and all the details make it look very real, I particularly like the 2x2 turntable circles on its reverse knees.

Your lego basement is on another level.

I also like the brown/mud terrain.

Re: Crusader-Class Super Heavy Death Tank

It looks very sleek, I like how it has a load of hardpoints on it, and the stowage bustle behind the turret is great. The details really give it pazazz. I like your pazazz.

Ah, sounds like you're going to have fun with this. It's nice to think that people are getting mileage out of something I've posted on here too :) .

Re: Empire Mointseeir

Really liking your soldiers, the combination of basic infantry and officers works if a great balance of variety and uniformity. The little ornithopters are neat too, great colour blocking and I love the idea of a guy in the back trying to take pot shots whilst hanging on for dear life, they really b...

Re: The Great War: The Kingdom Of Caledonia

I like all these factions, nice to see people building alternate history stuff from this period too. If you're going to brikwar with them maybe a few melee weapons would make things more interesting, even if it's just an officer fig with a sword IMO it really helps to bring the faction together and ...

Re: Some miniature forces (Updated 01/15/17)

Your smaller vehicles are an impressive display of technical razmataz with their combination of detail and compactness. The tank is super slick too, I think it's my new favourite realistic-ish hovertank. The lines all over and particularly the turret look futuristic but also very tanky, and the ligh...
