Or add an image like the forumtroll and pedonuker badges, but with a ban number.

That'd be great, if the forum software had a variable hidden somewhere where it kept track of ban count for some reason. But it doesn't.

We already have a log of bans in that thread, right? We could assign one of the admins or users to keep track of it and manually edit everyone's rank to reflect the number of bans.

Why did you think I mentioned the users/mods? You could pick someone like Arkbrik or me that would do it just not very fast, or someone like Collette or Thesson who would do it very fast but kind of in the wrong spirit.
