I was just signing up my friend for a forums acount when I noticed something. When it comes up with the comfirmation code it says that if you are visually impaired that you should click here to visit the administrator. If you're visually impared than how are you supposed to see where to click?

well, maybe if you are somewhat visually impaired you cannot read the confirmation code, but many browsers allow you to enlarge the text so you can read and see what you should click.

People that are vision impaired usually have screen readers. They can only read plain text, so they wouldn't be able to see the image, but they would dictate the "vision impaired" message so that the person could click on it.

Also, what Rody said. Plain text is much more manipulatable in browsers, but images are not. Plain text is much more accessible to a person with vision impairment, versus a picture, which carries no real meaning as words.
