I don't really like it. I can't see the icons that show when a new topic is posted, just the little icon that shows if there is a new post and the date it was posted. I also can't see some of the gifs, but rather just a line of code.
Infantry may be the Queen of battle, but Armor is the chastity belt that keeps that bitch from getting snuggled.

Can't you just change the Board Style?
It's in the User Control panel under Board Preferences.
