That kind of game gets boring if you can't play it online.IVhorseman wrote:Don't think you understand how Left 4 Dead works.
There IS NO STORY. Singleplayer mode is just multiplayer mode with bots. Multiplayer is infinitely better than single player.

First, use this site to test how your computer will run.OneEye589 wrote:So I've been looking at this game and it looks amazing and wicked fun. I really like the zombie mod on CoD:UO and stuff and I really want to play this online. I have a few questions for those of you that have it.
Does it take a lot of computer power to run? I'm not that computer savvy so anything that you say with computer parts and things like that I will have no idea about. I will be playing it online the entire time and I probably won't play through the story at all. I have a year-old Toshiba laptop with Vista and an Intel Celeron processor (that's all I know).
Is it fun to play online and is it worth buying just for that? I really just like playing games online and the single-player doesn't interest me as much.
Second, the online is very fun. I find it's one of the few co-operative online games where you can actually find teamwork in public games. The amount of dumb people I've encountered is surprisingly low.

Clearly, you've never played the game...the zombies in L4D are incredibly scary and evil.Ranger S2H wrote:I think it needs a bit less zombies and a lot more horror.
the undead are just dumb, not evil.

Although, technically, they're not zombies, just ordinary joes who got infected with Human Rabies.
