Civilization IV

Post by pesgores » Wed Sep 10, 2008 6:55 am

Boy do i love this game! ADDICTING!!!

The only thing that actually bothers me is when you play a giant map and you're advanced in time: it gets way too slooooooow in my computer. So i must play Tiny-sized maps.

All the rest is OH-SOME!

BTW, if you don't have the game, you can't buy it, you can't get a pirated copy, there is a solution in this clone game called...

Freeciv.

I've been playing Civ since... Civ. That's older than most of you... wow. Anyway, it just keeps getting better, although 3 and 4 are pretty close in my book.

Actually, I prefer C-Evo to Civ III... it is a bit simpler to play, and has such a ridiculously stripped-down graphics library that I've yet to encounter a computer it can't run on. The install's small enough that I've got it on my thumbdrive.

Haven't played a real Civ in years, but in the version I play, Vikings are always my choice. Just because they're cool.

You can download Freeciv. It's free and it's a clone of Civilization. Except it's very hard to declare war if you're a Republic or Democracy; than damn senate will never let you do so.

The only thing I can't stand about CIV III is that they didn't make any spanish...
