Okay, so who's running this bitch? Anyone familiar with 3.5 enough to do so will be gladly thanked. Unless we wanna play 4th or some bullshit? If someone steps forward as DM I'll gladly bow to their wishes, since they're the ones actually putting effort in.

I would but I am very inexperienced.

I would, but I've never touched anything D&D-related.

I could do it but D&D 3.5 is totally not the right choice for a play by post game, and not on this forum. We should do Paranoia or Tales from the Floating Vagabond or something like that, and play it completely seriously so that it will be maximally funny for whoever reads it.

Dying Earth? Maid RPG? TOON? InSpectres? Sorcery & Super Science?

Have only played 3.5...so I mean I guess I could try 4.0 or something.

I'm used to the DM role but I'm pretty sure I don't want to even touch this thing.

Paranoia could be cool but I don't really wanna get into TOON or any of that other stuff. I'm suggesting straight DnD only because it's what most of us are familiar with (unless I can be proven wrong).

Outside of the forum I've played one practice round of DnD that didn't last that long because the DM was too serious. They had a program to generate characters so I didn't really understand what I was doing in terms of stats. All I knew was that I was a giant female bug knight.

If there is still a free slot I'd like to join. Unfortunately my experience with DnD is near to non-existent. I played three or four games, but that isn't enough to run a game. On the other hand I have an interesting idea for an adventure I'd like to playtest.

Yeah that's about where my experience level is. What's your adventure idea?

Who among us is the highest level DM?

I would also like to play but not DM. I usually play as a fighter, but rogues and rangers are fun, too. I recall playing the Star Wars RPG on the forum once. It went alright, but didn't last. If I recall correctly, my character was Rex Neilson: Interstellar Botanist.

The adventure takes place in medieval fantasy setting. You are a band of youngsters accused of a crime you didn't commit and wanted by the authorities and even darker forces. You will have to keep a low profile and avoid capture while you attempt to prove your innocence and stop the dark forces that threaten the kingdom at the same time.

My level of DM-ing in general is mediocre, I guess, but I have no experience running a DnD session.

Actually, that sounds pretty cool! I've been wanting to play a good-guy necromancer, and that might be just the setting to have him be awesome in.

And that IS the question, isn't it? I don't want to make somebody throw together a bunch of crap if they don't want to. Besides, a DM forced into the position is nowhere near as fun or creative as a willing one.
