Muttered: "Oh you idiot, we needed your bow." I load and aim my crossbow, prepared for the inevitable.

Damnit, if I had taken ventriloquism, I could do the talking for him, well, I'll get my magic missile prepared.
OOC: Magic Missile > Extra bow.

The only unflawed system is Lego System.

OOC: I just realized I could've cast sleep on him which would have delayed him in tracking me.

Gregor acts:
While they're deciding on a plan, I've snuck off longways around to behind the goblin. I'll keep careful to approach from downwind, so the wolf doesn't immediately scent me.
Is snuck a word, even?

Not according to spell check. Sneaked is though.
Silva, you still totally can. I'd give us a good opportunity to tie up and interrogate the goblin. If you don't want to kill him (although I have no idea why - it's a goblin in an RPG, they serve pretty much no other purpose than to be slain) for some strange reason, we ought to at least get some information out of him as to why the goblins are so far west.

OOC: Also, I have charm person for an easier interrogation, you can cast sleep on the wolf and save us from needing a truth potion or whatever to know he it telling the truth.
The only unflawed system is Lego System.

I'd rather sleep the goblin > dispose of the wolf > tie up the goblin > Interrogate the goblin.
Of course, I'm still in favor of killing both of them.

I'm good with whatever, although I lean on the side of interrogating the Goblin. There may be some exploitable opportunity in the knowledge we glean from it. Hopefully, I'll be able to successfully move into position for a backstab, if necessary. Of course, I may blow this whole operation if I Han Solo it.

Re: In the Cold North - Forum RPG
I cast sleep on the wolf and the goblin, with priority going to the goblin.
OOC: Saucix is supposed to be a bit of a pussy. He didn't come on this mission to kill stuff, but to investigate. As time goes on he'll probably be more bloodthirsty, but as of now he's indecisive, too nice and lacking a war face.

Gerald Longhouse on the other hand wants to prove his valor as a soldier and warrior.
Pretty sure you can only cast on one of em, but we'll see what happens.

Nisos wants in-field experience hours to put towards his Master's degree, and Dom just wants his wife back.

Re: In the Cold North - Forum RPG
(So I assume you want to talk to the goblin and not cast Sleep at once.)
Saucix steps out from the treeline and hails the goblin. The goblin jumps to its feet and grabs the hilt of its sword; the wolf also stands up, growling.
"What want you? Here is nothing!" the goblin says with a heavy accent.
Meanwhile, Gregor starts sneaking around the goblin and the wolf, on the western side since the wind blows from the east.
Rolled Dex 2+13 vs. Wis*2
...and steps on a twig hidden under the snow. CRACK! The goblin twists around and spots Gregor.
"Razbri!"
The goblin leaps onto the back of the wolf, turns it northeast, and puts heels into its sides.

Saucix reaches out with his innate soothing powers.
Rolled 10
Just as the goblin and the wolf make the first leap away, they are overwhelmed by tiredness. The wolf falls down into the snow and the goblin slides off its back, both in deep sleep.

Re: In the Cold North - Forum RPG
I rub the back of my head and look deeply embarrassed.
Gregor says:
Plus side, I've got plenty of rope with which to tie them up...
