The door bangs open and the fairies bound into the room, throwing their nets at the shadow tiger. In an instant the tiger weaves aside and ducks under two of the nets, but the third falls over its head. Though impeded, the tiger leaps at a fairy and slashes its throat open. The fairy falls to the floor gargling bright red blood.

What do you do?

"Get the nets!" I say, as I charge the beast. Try to distract and possibly wound the beast. Cure light wounds on the fairy if I can.

I get as far away from that thing as possible while still staying in range to throw things and keep an eye on the situation.  If I have daggers left, chuck one of those.  If not, find something else to chuck.  Always remain as defensive as possible.

Gerald bursts into the room shortly after the faeries and surveys the situation. "HEY YOU BIG UGLY PUSSYCAT!" he shouts, banging his sword to his shield, "IGNORE THE FODDER, YOUR REAL PRIZE IS HERE!"

I make no actions to attack, but do get into whatever total-defensive posture I can. Between that and my armor, I SHOULD live long enough to distract the beast while everyone else goes for the capture.

Saucix/silverdream , let me distract the cult while you tend to the dying faerie. It'll be an excellent show of good faith. However, save that healing spell because there's a very good chance that I'm about to need it. DO NOT try to wound the beast, the faeries specifically said that they want the flesh unmarred.

I'm pretty sure I can take the hit. My AC is almost as good as yours and I have more health than you.

I'm sure you could, but you also have the healing spells. It's less of a big deal if I go down than if you do. Plus, we've got an injured potential ally you could aid with your skills.

What is Nisos doing? Also, is Saucix following Gerald's advice or sticking to his own plan?

"Fine! At least with both of us the beast will have no choice but to attack while the faeries snare him." Though Gerald wishes to honor the promise not to harm the tiger, he prepares to unleash hell if the faeries draw their weapons and go for the kill.

I will stay back with Logan to support, and if it counts, cast protection from evil on Saucix.

Saucix and Gerald charge forward, shouting and making noise with their weapons. The shadow tiger whips around to face them. Saucix lays a hand on the wounded fairy and offers a prayer to Päkkaan. Rolled 5+2 HP

The fairy bounds up from the floor, with all wounds healed.

Gregor backs away desperately and throws a dagger at the tiger.

Rolled Ranged 3+1 vs AC

Terrified as he is, Gregor can't aim straight and the dagger goes wide.

Adarim goes up against the huge beast with his bare hands... and a rope.

Rolled Melee 18+1 vs. Ref

Adarim runs and hits the floor, sliding in under the tiger on his back. He quickly loops the rope around its front paws and pulls, rolling aside as the tiger loses its balance and falls down.

The next moment, the fairies have their nets back and throw them over the beast. It growls and struggles but only snares itself further. The shadow tiger is caught.

The fairies look at Adarim, impressed.

"A delightful manoeuvre, human. You would be interesting with wings."

Situation:
Spoiler: show
Saucix: 8/8 HP, spells and prayers left: None

Gerald: 3/8 HP

Gregor: 3/6 HP

Nisos: 1/1 HP, spells left: Charm Person, Protection from Evil

Logan: Wounded

Allies:
Five fairies

Things here:
A snared shadow tiger

Relieved, I clap Adarim on the back.  "Most Impressive, thank you."  I retrieve my dagger and try to calm down.

Say, do I have a shadow back?  Or is it still in that thing?
