Your shadow is back.
Remus: Harry... I'm a werewolf.
Harry: Are you fucking serious?
Remus: Well yes, but I don't see how that applies here.

The only unflawed system is Lego System.

Gerald rolled Wis 17+16

Gerald believes the fairies are genuinely very happy with you. Though he senses their emotions are in general strong but easily changed.

You follow the fairies through the two rooms to the north, and into a tunnel which turns east and widens into a small cavern. Lying on the floor is the corpse of a bat beast, looking like it has been ripped open from inside. Bits of flesh, blood, and bone are circulating in the air above it, arranging themselves into intricate geometric patterns for a second, then breaking up again and forming new patterns. The pieces form the outline for a portal of pink light. The sweet, maddening smell is strong here, and seems to originate from the portal.

Three fairies drag the snared tiger into the portal and disappear. The other two gesture to the portal.

"This is the way to our home."

You walk through the light and the world disappears. You see stretched colors and loud angles... then you stumble out of it. You stand beneath a deep purple sky filled with a multitude of stars, in a field of soft grass. Farther away you see forests of tall orchids and by the horizon thin, pointed mountains. The sweet smell fills the air around you. Though you stand still, you feel like you are in the middle of a wild dance.

You have emerged from a mossy stone arch, where the other fairies now follow. The growls and struggles of the captured shadow tiger seems to be receding.

"Now we go to the palace of the King!" a fairy says. "We will take wounds and give wings!" They start off towards the orchid forest, dragging the tiger along.

Follow along, alert and cautious with sword drawn.

"What... what sorcery is this?"

Is the Sun visible? Does it appear to be day or night? Are constellations recognizable, or are there unusual celestial bodies of note?

It appears to be night, and the sun is not visible. But it is no darker around you than during twilight, and the only source of light seems to be stars... which fill the sky more densely than you've ever seen before. You can't pick out any constellations among them.

The fairies lead you on a narrow path through the forest, beneath the giant, many-hued flowers. After a while you come to the beginning of a downward slope. A great city is in the valley below, dominated by a single large building.
