"As a member of the church, wouldn't you be paid and fed from the 40%, while we would see none of it? Why don't we go for a more reasonable margin, 40% for you and the church, and 60% for the rest of us, and if I recall my scripture, does it not say "Give 10% to Pakkan, or 15% accounting for inflation?"

With no further complaints, Saucix splits the gold. There are a total of 435 coins. Saucix takes 175 coins for the church. Gerald, Gregor, Nisos and Adarim split the rest, taking 65 coins each.

(It seems IV is not around, I'll run his character until he shows up.)

This is another door with a hole instead of handle and keyhole, so Gerald inserts the goblin bracelet and the door opens. You come into a tunnel going east and then turning south, ending at a statue identical to the one you found before: the upper body of a snake-headed humanoid made from dark metal. The arms are outstretched and a look at the joints show you that the arms are posable, just like the arms on the other statue.

Should we see if there is a correlation in arm positioning?

I will go to the other statue, memorize the position and come back here.

Saucix goes to the other statue. It has one arm raised and one arm pointing forwards after Nisos moved the arms around to check the armpits and pull at an arm.

Just like the second statue, the first statue had its arms outstretched forward to begin with.

Saucix heads back to the rest of party past the great golden snakeperson statue in the treasure room, thinking deeply.
