Little Big Planet 2

Postby aoffan23 » Tue May 11, 2010 5:08 pm

YEP! They released the trailer on Youtube yesterday, and I am FRIGGIN EXCITED. This looks like it's gonna be even more epic than the first, since it have different game modes, sackbots that follow you around, and pilotable vehicles. Oh and also: All the levels already made in LBP are still accessible through LBP2, meaning you don't have to remake any level you're proud of, and all the levels you love will still be there.

AWESOME!

Hm.
I have to say, this doesn't really excite me... but then I've never played the game, so I guess I don't really get what this is all about. Isn't the game just building your own world?

Let's just say this. It's like the Lego of video games.

Very nice?
anything on a release date?
For those of you who don't know,
LittleBigPLanet is (was...) a platformer, It had some prettey badass levels, but was really famed for it's insanley powerful level editor, which could be used to make absoluteley anything that appeared in the main game and more.

There isn't a release date set so far from what I've read. Hopefully it comes in time for Saturnalia (probably won't) so I don't have to buy it myself.

For those who still aren't sure, Lego Indiana Jones 2's level builder was inspired by this but failed miserably at mimicking it.

And to think I was still excited about Modnation Racers (comes out on Friday)

Also, you can place Sackpeople as objects!

LBP is one of the best games ever made. This game will be THE best game ever made. Every level editor in a game that I've played has been shitty. The LBP editor is the only one that works PERFECTLY.

I always thought LBP was the best game ever made. Now this comes out and blows my blown mind. I wonder if LBP2 will include the water from the PotC pack? I mean it's not like they'll lose money, either you buy the pack or you buy the game, cha-ching either way.

I still think they need an Uncharted or Uncharted 2 pack. I've made Nate, Elena, and Sully in the game, but an official pack would be epic. 8)
