Tearing Cloth

I've never seen cloth tear in a game before so I figured you might like to see it happen in the new Unity 3.0 coming soon.

Bloody hell, I spend most of my time 3d modelling in Maya for my dissertation so that is impressive . . . I know to most others it won't look like much, but that's one hell of a jump forward in 3d technology.

You have anything else like this hiding around Tzan?

A bit further along in the video it shows the face of a wall destructing but the back stays. This way you maintain the same accessibility to areas of the game map.

What?  I was doing stuff like this almost twenty years ago, it's a dirt-simple procedural where you sever cloth tensors whenever you'd normally be damping them.
