The repetition wouldn't have been so bad if you'd got off my back with all the fail punishments for trying to injecting some humour, even if I was being a pain in the ass about it.

Alright, I'll ignore the...unique humor for the most part if you stick this through for the last little bit. K?

Errgh. Trying to force myself to write another action is slightly painful. Um...

Shoot the dragon in the mouth? Dunno.

Fine, but I need a recap of our current real situation then.

[plot schmot, this was a string of encounters with enemies interlaced by shop visits.
seriously, all I know of this plot is that we're dealing with some random ass cult of suicidal bandits that for some reason has a dragon involved. oh and there was a crypt with some undead.]

I throw my unknown object into the dragon's mouth.
Act first, then think, then try to find a way to cover up the horrible mess you made.

Kk, yes yes I did very poorly here. Enough on that. Instead of 5 RTDs I'm doing 3, and in my third I'll be complicating the battle so it isn't just "attack". Waiting for aoffan23's orders.

Recap: You are fighting Wyrmthax's bouncer. Dragon, 40 HP. Everyone is in front of him except for Sir Loristrang (aoffan23) who is behind him.

Bah! Nevermind. No more orders needed. I shall finish this via storytelling format. The end will come.....in a bit. Maybe not today, but it might.

I myself have gotten sick with this all. When I have sufficient time I'll do the battle(s). Maybe this is the way I'll do boss battles from now on. Perhaps just have orders given to the general style of approach each character with have, then act it out?

Anyway, while constructing the battle, I'd like feedback as to what I did poorly (other than repetition) and what I did well (if anything).

you did not make us feel like we were part of the world we played in, and our actions did not seem to have much of a lasting effect.

plot wise you might have had some nice ideas, but it didn't really show, as we were never able to find out motives/reasons or even who was behind the bandits.
we did actually give you an opportunity to show those to us, when we tried to interrogate the bandits.
while having them commit suicide was a nice move to make us think they were a part of something larger, it did prevent us from finding out more about them.

I would also suggest that you don't do more than one RTD so you can think about the story more and how to keep us interrested in your plot.
or if you are deadset on hosting several of them, have an overarcing storyline to keep it more manageable.

just my 2 cents worth.

Agreed with Rody, it felt more like a text-based side-scroller video game than a RTD. The one big thing I would have changed/added would have been that we should've found the bandit stronghold/HQ, which could have been under some big temple that needed you to solve puzzles or explore in order to open a door. It would have made things more interesting and interactive. Then, we could have found out that they were working for Wyrmthax, and from there we could have found his lair.

Sorry for the wait. And thank you everyone for the feedback.

The four knights and the battle-ready Kat enter the cave, and are confronted by a man who indentifies himself as Wyrmthax's bouncer. Revealing that Wyrmthax is out at the moment, he transforms to dragon form.

"Chaaaaaarge!!!" yells Sir Thorg. Sir Alex drops to one knee, and begins pelting the dragon with crossbow bolts. Sir Trisold advances on the dragon, shield raised. Sir Thorg also advances on the dragon, but with much less caution.

"Sir Thorg! You take the left flank, and I'll ta--"
Sir Trisold is interupted by another yell from Sir Thorg as he runs right at the dragon, axe swinging.

Now naturally this dragon does not enjoy being pelted with bolts and having some half-orc yell at him. He spews forth a huge arc a fire, which harms both Sir Thorg and Kat.

Kat runs at the dragon, giving a similar battle-cry as Sir Thorg. Leaping upon the dragon's back (thank goodness said dragon is so slow), Kat begins attacking the dragon relentlessly.

Sir Loristrang, having snuck behind to the back of the "front room" of the cave, proceeds to throw all sorts of metal objects at the dragon's now unprotected backside. Due to Sir Loristrang's training, most of the shruikens and knives hit their mark.

Sirs Thorg and Trisold advance (Sir Thorg being a little more cautious now), and attempt to slice up the dragon's front legs.

Wyrmthax's bouncer rears up, and takes a few swipes at the advancing knights. Harming both of them, he realizes that something just broke through his scales on top of his back. Roaring in pain, he turns around trying to shake off whatever was on him. Just as he turns around, Sir Loristrang sends a knife right into his mouth.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Back in human form now, the torn up, bleeding, and generally unhappy bouncer faces the group of knights. He sees the scorched Sir Thorg, the torn up Sir Rody, the exhausted Kat, and the two other knights who seems to be in perfect condition.

"What do you want? Treasure? My head?"

"No. We want Wyrmthax."

The dragon gives a cough-like chuckle.
"Wyrmthax ain't here. He's been in his human form and out of this cave for 2 years, 4 months, and 7 days.

"First, then who is atttacking all the villages and the livestock and such? Second, why so particular about how long?"

"Heh. Wyrmthax has been doing that. He just takes breaks every now and then and lets me terrorize for him. No, he has greater things to do. Like take control of a kingdom, and send knights to their deaths. With his web of bandits, you weren't supposed to make it here."

"I see. And the time he's been gone?"

"Hehe. That part. Oh my, you really don't know, do you? Hahaha that's the amount of time that the real Master Sestripore has been dead, and Wyrmthax has taken his place. He's been acting as an advisor to the king! He's been sending knight after knight to me, thinking that I would be able to kill them. He seems to have underestimated you. But no matter. As the last real threat to him, once you were gone I imagine the king was lying in a pool of his own blood. Hahahaha-*cough cough* aaarrrgggg---"

And with that, Wyrmthax's bouncer died.

I'll give the rest in a bit. No time right now.

Everyone, I'm sorry about the delay. I have just too much going on right now, and doing these RTDs takes time. I'll do a battle summery, but I just don't have time to write out an actual fun story.

After heading back to the town to restock and heal, the 4 kights and their Kat went all the way back to the castle. Confronting Master Sestripore concerning what his bouncer said, the party ended up fighting the dragon form of Master Sestripore a.k.a. Wyrmthax. Sadly, before the party got there the king had already been murdered. Nonetheless, Wyrmthax was slain and the king's son took the throne. While Sir Thorg, who perished in the fight, will be remembered as a great hero, Sirs Trisold and Alex were particularly honored for their intellect on this quest. Sir Loristrang dissapeared soon after this, and no one heard of him since then.

Project Heroic Days is cancelled due to no spare time, and my obvious inability to make a fun RTD. Till later, see ya.
