I should be able to take place in the next game with my monk. Sorry that I missed, but Sundays can get sort of busy for me. Saturday nights like originally suggested would probably be better for me.

Agreed. much better than a rogue as our mainline fighter. and Zuponn, welcome aboard, so sad you missed our....adventure. anyway, a fighter, a monk, a sorcerer, a druid(?), and a cleric. that's a slightly more solid group than the one before.

Fighters are good for new or beginner players, because in combat they've got one thing that they can do: hit it, and hit it hard.

No spells are magical abilities to worry about, just a big heavy weapon and a high Strength score.

actually, it was See Horrible mind shattering things, go comatose, get looted and then get set on fire and left for dead,

true, true. this would explain why your party members were the ones who set you on fire.
