Portugal had hope for 5 athletes to win a medal (lol). One was already eliminated. We still hope for 4 gold medals.

Who's heard of Francis Obikwelu? Naide Gomes? Nélson Évora?

And the women triathlon European and World champion for 3 times in a row (each), Vanessa Fernandes?

Anyways, i do agree Phelps is amazing. 6 competitions, 6 gold medals, 6 world records. He owns, totally.

Yea, he was pretty much a full body length away at the start of the last 50 meters, then he caught up with the other guy and literally beat him by .01.

I bet that guy was pissed.

It's because Phelps has monster arms.

Did you know he's like 6'5" or something like that?

Awesome idea. Swimmers would grab people off the edge of the pool and drag them underwater, fencers would have real swords, divers would throw people off the ten-meter platform or kamikaze dive onto people in the water, crew teams would hit other people on the head with their oars or run them over with their boats, beach volleyball players would serve MKIII grenades... the possibilities for mayhem are endless. Pure genius. Each "event" has a gold, silver, and bronze medal hidden somewhere, and the objective for each team is to grab the highest medal possible in each category by any means necessary and bring it to the edge of the map.

No, man. He's 6'4", but his reach is 6'7".

What they mean is his torso isn't on the same scale as his legs. The legs are shorter than normal, plus he's got 14-inch feet and a heck of a lot of muscles.

Practice makes you a better player. But only random genetic mutation can make you a champion.
