What was I?  I must have been pretty good (or lucky) to survive.

Neither am I, so at least we're forgotten together.

Hey don't feel so bad, I was so forgotten he didn't even bother to tell me why I'm not on the team!

Just got this during the sale.

Before this mission, mgb died. I decided I wanted to capture some aliens, so I only equipped two people with medkits, Colette and Alotgirl.

Colette and Alotgirl were the ones that bled out. Alotgirl managed to stabilize Silverdream before two mutons ganged up on her.

Everyone else was quick to go. That is, everyone except for Zupponn. Zupponn was able to kill most of the aliens with grenades, rockets and his LMG. Despite being outnumbered and having taken a lot of damage, he was able to kill 3 mutons and 3 sectoids by himself. He was killed by that one alien that warps in from nowhere. If he had survived, he would have been promoted.

That's because I'm that badass.

My new team, after all my good soldiers died.

Image

Didn't work out that well. Several people bled out, and the squad was pinned down by two squads of Mutons and a berserker. Silent Sigfig fought for as long as he could, but the laser sniper rifle has to reload quickly. Eventually the mutons were able to corner and kill him.

Then, before I could get a new group together, I had to rescue a Canadian ally of the council. Maverick and Motorhead_fan tried their best, but they were lead into a thin man ambush and killed with the robot.

Currently I'm thinking about giving up. I don't even know what to name my next squad (although Tzan, Almighty Benny and IVHorseman are probably going to be on it.

Yeah, that was my question too.
Play at the normal difficulty level, the game is not too hard.

If you are on the normal level start over and drop to the easy level.

I can't remember the difficulty level, it's just the middle part of the game, and all my guys are noobs. I'm playing in Ironman even though I didn't pick it as a setting. It's just too unrealistic to reset time in order to save a squad.

If you are on the normal level, stop being so bad. Gosh.

I was beginning to turn things around, with Captain Honore, Corporal Dilanski and Sergeant Rayhawk (Tzan, Benny, Kaplan and IVHorseman were quick to die), but I got the bad ending. I think I'll use anime names or something for my next campaign, because you guys are bad luck.

It was set on easy.

It's not like I just started off with all my guys dead (well, I did because of the tutorial, but you know what I mean). I made a lot of progress early on, but then I lost my best squad and I was screwed after that.
