Briktopian Infantry (Theblackdog)

Image

Raszack tries to rip off the Prowler's turret with a bionic-strength feat.

Image

But he fails and gets knocked down. (there goes an Almighty Benny that i wanted to award)

Image

The remaining soldiers re-enter their transports.

Image

They close in on the Vindicator and continue to shoot at its tracks - unsuccessfully.

Image

On the supertank Apollyon eviscerates the helpless Mechanik.

Image

Then he takes flight and chucks down an OT grenade down one maingun barrel.

Image

Being designed to shoot much larger slugs the barrel only belches and Apollyon gets knocked back by the blast.

Image

He lands unharmed but disrupted on the car.
One Almighty Benny goes to Theblackdog for the idea though.

Bikers, The Village People, Infantry continued (Silvadream and Theblackdog)

Image

Inside the bar things get a little bit rougher. The Village People dance on the tables again while the drunk soldiers
start a moshpit.

Image

Turns out the jocks are into metalcore because it's hip and they initiate some violent dancing including windmilling and high-kicking.

Image

But the Briktopians will have none of that because they're :666:

Image

Agitated the troops snatch a barrel of Maniac Beer(tm) and start charging towards the approaching tank...

Image

Singing "Full moon's light is calling me, My kingdom lies within..." from the top of their lungs.

Image

The bikers bail milliseconds before impact, not all of them make it far enough though...

Image

Their bikes make a few scratches on the Vindictor's paintjob.

Vindicator Super Heavy Death Tank (Darkpaladin)

Image

The tank moves forward.

Image

General Lukas: "Gentlemen, it's time to lay the smack down!"

Image

Once again the maingun targets the Schreck tank and again piss poor damage rolls versus a massive armor roll
means it loses just one size point.

Image

Secondary weapon systems chip away another two points of size damage from the siege tank which is
now pretty much crippled.

Image

On the other side the Avenger just absorbs the damage dealt by several guns.

Image

Until Mk-IV OT warhead missiles are unleashed.

Image

Boom!

Image

Infantry is unloaded.

Image

The badly damaged siege tank is easy prey for the Deadly Spacemen.

Image

The Red Tub is more resilient though and takes one point of size damage.

Image

Finally the immobile Prowler destroys the Ozelot. All who were on it manage to bail.

Tank Company and Overviews (Heavyfishcannon)

Image

Both Avenger and Schreck tank fire everything they have at the mainguns but what luck they had on turn 1
now turns into the opposite: none of the OT-rockets and only the assault tank's regular guns hit but to not
enough damage.

Image

This biker guy rolled three sixes in a row and bailed 22 inches. For this awesome feat he gets promoted to be
a hero (in need of a name) and returns to the battlefield unharmed and ready for action. Incidently it was
the only biker who had weapons.

Image

Inside the bar the chearleader mourns her dead friends while the Village People dance on.

Image

Image

Size damage table:
Vindicator (1 out of 14)
Red Tub (2 out of 7)
Avenger #1 (6 out of 6) destroyed
Avenger #2 (0 out of 6)
Delta (5 out of 5) destroyed
Schreck (2 out of 4)

Send orders for turn 4!

I don't know about the name, but he gives off an Irish vibe to me.

How do you calculate your size damage hp?

Nothing fancy, only following the rulebook here.

For example the Avenger tanks are size 6 and can take 6 points of size damage (or have six hitpoints if you want to call it that) before they blow up:

A brand-new Avenger gets succesfully hit by the combined attack of two huge ass guns that each do 7d6 damage. Since the tank is "armored" one die from each attack
gets removed for a total roll of 12d6 = 35 damage. The Avenger's armor roll of 4d10 results in a (very poor) 11, ouch. The damage is enough to overkill the
Avenger twice so it loses 3 points in size damage and three more remain to it. It is still allowed to fire its size 4 main gun but movement is reduced.

I find that the "armored" rule does its job very well on the larger vehicles in this game so far. Almost always the damage dealt to an armored target was huge
but not quite enough to overcome the armor roll twice. Without "armor" they'd get overkilled much faster.
Contrary to popular belief "armored" targets are hard but not impossible to kill. Either a lot of firepower directed at them or some luck (like in the example above) will bring them down.

Wait, you're supposed to just use the same armor roll for overkill damage on vehicles and structures? Oh man, I've been re-rolling the armor for every piece of overkill damage and it takes fucking forever. That's a way better idea!

EDIT: wait, that can't be right. If that were the case, a critical failure would mean the vehicle would be completely destroyed by any armor roll whatsoever. Lame!

Huh. The Red Tub doesn't look 7 inches long.

Oh it is. About 19 cm long which is a little bit over 7". Besides it is usually manned by Deadly Space Men so when they say it's size 7 who are we to argue with them?

Turn 4 will be upped tomorrow, sorry for the delay people.
