The Five: Act 2, You Can't Escape the Miles: One Spot Left!
Celebrating topic 1600, 100 forum battles threads since my last forum battle, I present to you the second battle of The Five.
Meanwhile, at Helm's Derp...
Once feared through out the far coast, this figurehead put fear into the hearts of merchant ships everywhere.
But now the Beast of Wrath and Her Captain are serving the Crown, their mission; to silently lead a boat full of pissy nobles through Orkish waters at Blackwater Bay to assault The Derping Wall.
The Nobles from the Pridelands store their armor on the main deck on stands, for ease of access.
Sir Ornstein, the Dragonslayer, is the Commander of the expedition, and is reviewing troop deployment in the captain's cabin.
The Captain, however, is busy carefully dodging Orkish Patrols and keeping the old smuggler's vessel out of sight and on the right winds.
Lord Amadeus Von Bragallot, Naval Adviser: "Now that ve have passed ze straits of moor, you vill be at ze rendezvous point in less than a veek."
Baron Ivan Leijon, Pridelord: "Good, I feel on the edge of scurvy, who knew we would need limes, I just bought cherries."
(from the crows nest) Stephan Leijon the Younger: "By the Sun, what is that creature!"
Captain Two Pistol Pete: "You have never seen a Wrath-gull before? These things are like the ocean's vultures, any significant naval battle or plague, and they are ready to pick up the pieces. I can't imagine why they are around here though, no one's died so far."
Swabby 1: "Captain, Quegan war galley spotted off Starboard."
Two Pistol Pete: "Why didn't we notice this sooner! Wait, Is that who I think it is?''
Hollow Officer: "Captain, small cutter spotted off port."
The Former Iron Captain Trenchard, Dagger of the Seas: "I recognize that ship, could it be?"
Oscar Leijon the Elder: "It's coming closer, I can see it now... holy shit."
Sir Oscar the Elder: "Well, at least now we know where those Gulls were coming from."
Sir Stephan the Younger: "Do you think that they know they are a bit overkill?"
Two Pistol Pete: "Madre de dios, it's the Red Miles!"
Two Pistol Pete: "Is that you Trenchard? I thought you died in that raid on Dark Harbor!"
The Iron Captain: ''Indeed it is, and indeed I did, I haven't seen you in 10 years Pete, you look older, and less spry."
Two Pistol Pete: "And you look more Hollowed and less alive, what's with the crew of dead men? You working for the Saint-Knight now?"
The Iron Captain: "After my untimely demise and hollowing, I was offered employment by that very Holy Order, just as you seem to have turned to the Crown, after your untimely imprisonment.''
Two Pistol Pete: "We need not be at cross purposes, we are on a campaign against the Orks, The Hollows need not interfere, may we pass unchallenged?"
The Iron Captain: "I'm Afraid that's not an option,"
The Iron Captain: "Not only are you serving the Crown, but your ship is a prize worthy of my fleet. I have long coveted the Wrath and would loath to see some king ruin it."
Two Pistol Pete: "Then it appears even old comrades must choose sides."
The Iron Captain: "Don't try to run, smuggler. No one escapes the Red Miles, even you can't escape the Miles. Launch the Boarding Lines!"
Sir Oscar the Elder: "Well, this isn't good."
Baron Ivan: "Lord Ornstein, they are boarding us, what should we do?"
Sir Ornstein: "Simple, we board them back."
