The Greater Good - Turn Three

Postby Sir Sporktimus » Tue Jun 30, 2015 9:09 pm

Things are getting pretty serious now! I have some concerns as to who will win!

Corbin's Regiment: RedRover

Image

Corbin takes a feat of Manning Up, enforcing male stereotypes by banning his tears and heaving up his brother's Blastgun!

Image

He proceeds to open fire on the two VASS marines..

Image

Transforming them both into meaty chunks.

Image

His troops open fire at the Palemask pilot, but for some reason only one gun hits him, and it doesn't do enough damage.

Image

The Pallasphere tank opens fire on the VASS Chainsaw Marines with its explosive missile, blowing apart both of them and preventing them from siezing control of the Arion.

Image

It then opens fire on the disrupted General Kilalov. Two critical failures on the same cannon cause it to overheat and explode.

Image

Two critical successes on the other, however, reduce General Kilalov to a bloody scrap for the time being, as his magnificent chainblade clatters to the ground.

Lance's Regiment: Valiant

Image

The two Blue Heliad Chainblade marines jump up onto the Thunderpig, and try to attack the hinge for the door visor!

Image

In the ensuing mayhem, one guy beheads himself, the other hacks off the door panel and leaps to safety, and the MW-1 Daedalus opens fire with its machine gun.

Image

Not much is left of the Thunderpig's pilot.

Image

The Tortuga sails over the Thunder Pig and the castle and opens fire on Tombsday, but his armor resists the Tortuga's damage.

General Kilalov's Brigade: Silent-Sigfig

Image

The Palemask pilot fires an unsuccessful volley at the Tortuga before bailing out of Tombsday!

Image

He finds General Kilalov's Chainsaw of Might. (Heroic Weapon!)

Image

The Iron Razor attempts to hack the Tortuga out of the sky! Unfortunately, he slashes the Bystro in half instead.

Admiral Ignatov's Regiment: M220 - Sir Sporktimus

Image

The Mobile Artillery Suit opens fire on Corbin, but does pitifully little damage.

Image

Ignatov tries to kick back the Lich King so he can shoot him in the face, but he's unsuccessful! As he Withdraws from Close Combat, the Lich King hits him again with the sword...

Image

Transforming him into Admiral Undeadtov!

Image

The Bystro pilot tries to fire the cannon on the side of his bike, but he misses both the Lich and Undeadtov.

The Tomb Army Zupponn

Image

The Tomb Horror climbs into the now empty second Arion, and both of them wheel around, opening fire on the Pallasphere. This is not effective.

Image

They then ram into the Pallasphere, pushing it back several inches but otherwise leaving all vehicles unharmed.

Image

Admiral Undeadtov guns down the Bystro pilot with clammy efficiency.

Image

The Lich King tries to hit the last VASS marine with the Sword of the Sepulcher, but only manages to fling it three inches away.

Tombsday the Heavy Metal Fiend: 10% Valiant, 10% Sporktimus, 80% Pantera

Image

Tombsday tries to hit all three Blue Heliad soldiers on the fort. Failing that, he decides to head over towards the Daedalus in the hopes of getting a more worthy opponent.

Alright, everyone! Send orders for Turn 4!

Just a note:  I always find it extremely useful to have a large Overwatch pic of the whole battle at the end of a turn.  This allows players to judge their position on the battlefield and gives a good view of the overall destruction.

Other than that, it has been good so far.  Keep it up!

Alright, here are the overviews! I'd forgotten to add them in, sorry!

Image

Here towards the top of the board,  there's the Pallasphere, the Arion-riding Tomb Horrors, the Blue Heliad infantry on the fort top, and the USSSR Pilot with the Heroic Chainsaw.

Image

Towards the center you've got Tombsday coming up on the Daedalus, with Corbin on the ledge. The last VASS marine is still stuck behind the disabled Thunder Pig.

Image

And in the bottom-right, the Lich King's sword remains tossed away, and Admiral Undeadtov is looking for something to do. Meanwhile the Iron Razor has just missed a hit on the Tortuga.

Good luck with Turn 4, everyone!
