The Greater Good - Turn Four

Postby Sir Sporktimus » Mon Jul 06, 2015 7:55 pm

Corbin's Regiment: RedRover

Image

Corbin orders all his troops to fire at the Tomb Horrors and take back those Arions. Unfortunately, his soldiers can't hit a thing.

Image

Corbin grimaces. "Idiots. I'll do this myself." before performing a Charge Up feat, powering up his newfound Blastgun. It will receive +1d6 Damage the next time he fires it.

Image

He then makes his way up to the ancient tower, taking aim from the parapets.

Image

The Pallasphere pilot proves himself a little more competent, however, and he opens fire on a Tomb Horror, causing the ancient warrior to crumble into dust. One of the Blue Heliad soldiers moves to reclaim the scout vehicle.

Lance's Regiment: Valiant

Image

The Daedalus opens fire on Tombsday, filling his face with a 3" Lasercannon and a 2" Machinegun's worth of ammo.

Image

Tombsday crumbles, bursting into hellish flame as the Heavy Metal Fiend descends back to Hades.. only to find that they didn't want him. As punishment for being pretty lame for a Heavy Metal Fiend, they banish him to a life of working as a cashier in a lonely comic book store's basement.

Image

The Tortuga opens fire on the Iron Razor again, but to no avail. The Razor's armor is pretty decent.

Image

The last living Marine from Lance's team sidesteps the green flames bursting from Tombsday's metal corpse and regains control of the Thunderpig. It is now at his disposal.

General Demded's Regiment: Silent-Sigfig

Image

The Palemask Pilot hops on General Demded's revered Chainsaw of Victory, plunging it into the ground and riding it like a motorcycle!

Image

Using the rubble as a ramp, he jumps up onto the fort, vivisecting the BTC-Launcher and the Rifleman!

Image

He comes to a skidding halt in the forest just past the Pallasphere.

Image

Demded's Iron Razor goes after the Tortuga, but somehow fails to take out so much as an armor panel.

Admiral Ignatov's Regiment: M220/SirSporktimus

Image

After firing at the Lich King and failing, VASS marine Brute Killis retreats to higher ground.

Lich King: Zupponn

Image

The remaining Tomb Horror revs up his Arion, backing it before charging once again into the Pallasphere! This time it crushes the glass dome, flattening the pilot underneath!

Image

The rats form a Conga Line, pushing the sword gradually back into the Lich King's grasp.

Image

The Lich King looks into the eyes and soul of Brute Killis, attempting to burn away his life force!

Image

Brute Killis stares back! Brute is nobody to mess with! Four of his daughter's previous boyfriends have been executed for bringing her home a few minutes past curfew. His presence inspires such fear that people stop talking in movie theaters. He goes to work and eats someone else's lunch from the fridge every day, and they consider themselves lucky that they got off so lightly. The Lich King feels a peculiar feeling as Brute's cold, flint eyes stare into his ancient decaying sockets!

Image

The Lich King reels back, his powerful spell turned back against him by Brute's more powerful gaze! He feels his lack of lifeforce beginning to burn away, leaving him..

Image

Alive again. Agzhad the Mystical has returned to the land of the living! He is a powerful king and magic-user! The Tomb Horror and the Rats, bound by your spells, will continue to exact your will. However, Admiral Undeadtov - now that you are not an Undead - has vanished from your control, and will act as Undead tend to do. This will be true for any others struck by the Sword of the Sepulchre as well.

Image

Admiral Undeadtov hasn't yet realized this, however, and opens fire on the Tortuga! He scores multiple critical successes, and the Tortuga rolls low for Armor! The Tortuga's propulsion explodes in a ball of fire!

Image

Although it drops out of the sky with a tremendous crash, the pilot seems relatively unharmed.

Image

In fact, he seems truly incensed. (This guy's still yours, Valiant.)
