High Command: High Fleet Command to Battle Group 003b. Requesting Admiral Rikker, call is priority 4.

Admiral Rikker: Received, command. This is Admiral Rikker aboard War Vessel Resolution. Go ahead.

High Command: Good evening, Admiral. Redirect your ships and orbit colony world Combine. The governing body there requested military intervention, but we have lost communication and have no further information. What we do know is their cities are experiencing some form of mysterious opposition that’s wiping the population out. Find out what’s going on down there and report back. As far as we know, the largest still functioning settlement is Tragra. Coordinates have been sent.
Furthermore, Admiral, in this settlement is a research team that has been looking into this phenomenon as well as other classified projects. Acquire the data they’ve gathered, whether the research team accompanies it or not.

Admiral Rikker: Roger, command. Battle Group retasked and departing immediately.

Rikker: Admiral Rikker to Commander Havenfall, I am putting you personally in charge of this operation. Do not delegate any portion of it to lesser authority, I believe there is greater danger here than High Command is willing to admit. Use as few resources as you can to complete the mission. Details will be forthcoming. Deadly force is authorized.

Havenfall: Good evening, warriors, this is Commander Havenfall. All active units will report directly to me for the duration of this operation. As instructed, I will be committing as few units as possible while still ensuring completion of mission objectives. I have chosen the First Strike Module (FSM) of Unit A11 to be sent to the surface. Because of their excellent battle record, Staff Sergeant Andrus and his wolves will be the first boots on the ground. Get down there, find out what’s going on, and then get out. Be advised you’ll need to bring back a research team with you. The FSM will be stationed much closer to the surface than you’re all used to provide close support should it be deemed necessary, so don’t expect any perfect landings today. You have one hour before the FSM is launched. Good luck.

Havenfall: Good evening Staff Sergeant. The launch has gone well and you should be approaching the surface of Combine now. Once the FSM reaches its air support position you will be ported to the surface. If all goes well you’ll land in the middle of Tragra. There is no communication with the surface, so you and I will both be blind until you can find a way to reopen communication with the Battle Group. After that, grab the research team and call for evac. If you run into serious trouble, I have Medics, Harcos flame units, and sniper teams standing by. Ask for support if you need it, but you had better need what you ask for. No heroes today, men. Good luck.

These teams aren't super important to the main game, so if their commander hasn't sent in orders for a turn I won't hold up running the turn to wait.

No guarantee for these spots, since I'm not sure if they'll get in the game. Reserve a slot anyway and get priority if they do.

All right, all the principle slots have been taken. I'll get your team summaries sent out hopefully by tomorrow night and then you can start sending in your orders. The remaining reinforcement teams will be handed out as necessary.
