Well then let's hope I can move before I get fried... :) Those floor turrets remind me of that Terran mission in the original Starcraft. :D

Re: Chemical Warfare [TURN 2]

Postby Duerer » Sat Aug 18, 2018 3:46 pm

Initiative Order (determined by d20):
20 - Order of Szent Erzsébet (Bragallot)
17 - Order of Dobrzyń (Brikguy0410)
9 - Security Force (ninja_bait)
6 - Lab Personnel (Falk)

Order of Szent Erzsébet (Bragallot):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
The Retributor fires at the two soldiers on the walkway whilst burning one of them to death.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Diána fires at the remaining soldier on the walkway but misses him.
Sister Diána: "If I can't hit anything today, I might as well try out some of my funky cyber utensils... *beep-boo-boop-beep*"

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Irena Mielkute: "Crap, how could they see through my cloaking device that easily?!"
Diána sent out a radar pulse, revealing Irena's location before she could move an inch (FEAT SUCCESSFUL).

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Medic hurries to the fallen Retributor but a critfail on her Ker-Triage roll renders that body completely unrevivable.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
The battle sisters spread out their fire across multiple targets. One sister hits the lab staff member holding the barrel but barely fails to harm him. The other four sisters spit out enough fire to kill both Lietuvan soldiers on the road.

Order of Dobrzyń (Brikguy0410):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Jerzy attempts to strike Irena but his damage is soaked up by a nearby redshirt. The Librarian deals quite some damage which however is all soaked up by some critical armour rolls of Irena. The Forgeguards both miss.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
The knights shoot down the railing which is now at Size 3.

Security Force (ninja_bait):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
The soldier on the right walkway manages to put out his fire in time.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
He and the red knight combine fire on Diána who loses one HP with 2 remaining.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
The soldier on the left road shot a knight, while the other two at the walkway fail to harm Jerzy.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
*WHOOSH*
Irena suddenly disappears again with no trace. Where could she be?

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Irena Mielkute: "Take that, bookworm!"
She reappears right behind Jerzy and stabs the Chief Librarian in the back (FEAT CRITICALLY SUCCESSFUL).

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Jerzy Durer: "Let's be real here. I've been struck with a butter knife that was sharper than your 'blade'."
However, due to some critical armour rolls, Jerzy turns out to be just fine.

Lab Personnel (Falk):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Lab Staff: "Hey ladies, hope urine for a surprise!"
Battle Sister: "What is he on about?"

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Battle Sister: "Ewww, you sicko!!"
While not enough to kill them, three sisters have been splayed with the contents of the 'chem'-barrel and are overloaded for the next turn. The poodle of piss goo also counts as a field hazard.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Due to a critical success, the Engineer managed to turn that utility car into a Combat Cart with following stats:
Spoiler: show
Skill: -    Move: 6"    Armour: 1d10        SP: 3
Equipment:
Big Gun
UR: 4        Range: 10"    Damage: 2d6

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
The doc moves up and prepares to fire on the bulk of knights.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
However, he critfails and sets himself on fire instead. No damage dealt luckily.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Any targets for the flame towers are hopelessly out of range.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Lab Computer: "Missile launch in T minus 4 minutes! Missile launch in T minus 4 minutes!"
4 turns left until missile launch!

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
Suddenly, the big pond of goo begins to react even more violently...

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2
...as four aggressive blokbots emerge from the centre of the pond, ready to strike at the nearest target!
Blokbots have minifig stats with a Size 1 melee attack and an immunity for dangers of chem related field hazards. The ponds spawns 1d4 blokbots each turn. As they are automatically trying to attack the closest enemy in range, they are not played by any particular player.

Kills and Points:
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 2

Blokbots.

Beheaded patient... oops!

I was afraid that thing with the acid barrel would happen and tried to prepare for it, but not enough I guess. Damn you ninja-bait. :fist:

The Doc really amuses me.

Brikguy, any chance you could do something about that red knight? After one of those one-shot one of the squaddies last battle, he really has me worried.

Initiative Order (determined by d20):
20 - Order of Dobrzyń (Brikguy0410)
9 - Lab Personnel (Falk)
8 - Security Force (ninja_bait)
4 - Order of Szent Erzsébet (Bragallot)
0 - Blokbots (me, forgot to roll for initiative for these)

Order of Dobrzyń (Brikguy0410):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
Jerzy attempted to leap towards the walkway but lays disrupted on his back instead (FEAT FAILED).

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
He uses his remaining action to stand up and be in a less prone position.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
Everyone else engages the Lietuvans in close combat but none of them hits anything. Irena prepares a counter attack, which doesn't do enough damage to kill the knight.

Lab Personnel (Falk):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
The docs fire spreads out further. displeased about it, he tries to put it out.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
Instead it grows bigger and deals one HP damage to him (FEAT CRITICALLY FAILED).

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
The last staff member hits two overloaded battle sisters with his flamer, one with more severe burns than the other.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
Not having the medic in sight, the cart fires at a battle sister instead yet ultimately misses.

Security Force (ninja_bait):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
Irena throws a smoke bomb in order to make hitting her much more difficult (FEAT SUCCESSFUL, -3 SKILL AGAINST SKILL ROLLS FOR HITTING IRENA).

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
Soldiers fire without dealing any hits or damage.  :?

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
That one hits the battle sister but deals no damage.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
The Red Knight fires his machine gun within an arc and kills two blokbots.

Order of Szent Erzsébet (Bragallot):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
One of the sisters in flames burnt to death while the other one managed to put out hers.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
Sisters: "Take that!"
Since both of them were overloaded and couldn't fire their guns this turn, they shoved the staff member into the pile of goo. Although he survived, he's now disrupted.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
The other sisters spread their fire whilst killing the last staff member. The medic manages to restore Diána's HP being back to 3 HP again.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
Diána climbs the mountain and fires her railgun at the engineer. Neither he nor his cart take any damage.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
Sister Diána: "Ugh, guess I've been straining this body too much, after all..."
In an attempt to enhance her leg speed, both of them fried up slowing her even further down (FEAT FAILED, DIÁNA'S MOVEMENT REDUCED TO 4").

Blokbots (me):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
The remaining bots charge the hardsuit with one of them striking first and taking out one SP.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
The Red Knight immediately retaliates and chops down the bot.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
However, the second bot delivers the finishing blows to the hardsuit.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
Three more blokbots spawn from the pond, ready to strike at the nearest target. Better stay back from these!

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3
Lab Computer: "Missile launch in T minus 3 minutes! Missile launch in T minus 3 minutes!"
3 turns left until missile launch!

Kills and Points:
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 3

Initiative Order (determined by d20):
14 - Lab Personnel (Falk)
10 - Blokbots (me)
6 (12) - Order of Dobrzyń (Brikguy0410)
6 (1) - Order of Szent Erzsébet (Bragallot)
2 - Security Force (ninja_bait)

Lab Personnel (Falk):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
The flames further begin to spread across the doc's body.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Being done with burning all the time, he rolls around the floor to extinguish the flames.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Dr. Aras Gabrys: "Good as new! Now who shall I grill this time?"
And the flames are all gone!

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
The cart fires at Diána but fails to harm her.

Blokbots (me):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
A blokbot tackles the engineer but to no avail.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
The other three gang up on the medic but deal abysmal damage.

Order of Dobrzyń (Brikguy0410):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Jerzy Durer: "I need your help brother!"
Forgeguard: "How can I assist?"
Again, Jerzy tries to climb up to the walkway but this time he has a different idea in achieving so.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Jerzy Durer: "Now lift me up in the air on three! One... two... Three!!"
He climbs on the halberd as the forgeguard throws him in the air.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
And indeed, Jerzy land next to a Lietuvan soldier whom he immediately chops down. He's only a few steps away from the terminal (FEAT SUCCESSFUL).

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
The others bar one forgeguard try to kill Irena but fail to do sufficient damage. One Lietuvan soldier come to help as a redshirt and manages to survive the halberd's strike.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
The remaining forgeguard strikes at the soldier on the walkway. While not enough to kill him, he still managed to knock back the soldier to make way for the Chief Librarian.

Order of Szent Erzsébet (Bragallot):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Sister: "I live!!"
The medic passes her skill roll and immediately revives the fallen sister without any amputations. However, the Lietuvan team still gets to keep the kill point from her previous demise.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
The battle sisters walk around and position themselves to get a better view on possible threats. Two sisters take out the soldier on the walkway.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
The three other sisters fire on the engineer but only manage to deal one HP of damage (1 remaining).

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Despite her handicap, Diána manages an amazing sprint and reaches the terminal at last.
Sister Diána: *pata-pata-pata*
Lab Computer: "Access granted. Missile launch aborted. Inserting neutralization agent... Agent inserted. Viral content neutralized."
Sister Diána: "Splendid. It's all up to you now, Chief Librarian."
The missile on the right hand side has been disarmed and its launch aborted! Only one missile left!

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Sister Diána: "Hey you, I need your clothes. your boots and your combat cart!"
Lietuvan Engineer: "Hehe, if my clothes is what you want then you shall get them right away! *unzips pants*"

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Sister Diána: "Yuck, what the hell is wrong with you men?!"
Diána's attempt to convince the engineer to hand over his cart didn't go as well as she expected (FEAT FAILED, DIÁNA SUFFERS -1 SKILL NEXT TURN DUE TO BEING IRRITATED BY THE SMELL OF THE ENGINEER'S UNWASHED PANTS).

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
The Retributor fires her cannon at the blokbots but misses any of them.

Security Force (ninja_bait):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Irena opens a catalyst capsule turning her smoke cloud into a venomous one with one knight already falling victim to it (FEAT SUCCESSFUL).

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Out of range from Jerzy, she stabs the last regular knight instead.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
The last two soldiers fire at Jerzy without dealing sufficient damage.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Lab Computer: "Missile launch in T minus 2 minutes! Missile launch in T minus 2 minutes!"
2 turns left until missile launch!

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 4
Four more blokbots emerge from the pond!

Re: Chemical Warfare [TURN 5]

Postby Duerer » Mon Aug 20, 2018 12:58 pm

Initiative Order (determined by d20):
18 - Order of Szent Erzsébet (Bragallot)
9 - Order of Dobrzyń (Brikguy0410)
8 - Blokbots (me)
6 - Lab Personnel (Falk)
2 - Security Force (ninja_bait)

Order of Szent Erzsébet (Bragallot):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
Sisters: "PURGE THE UNCLEAN ONE!!"
The sisters chant as they spread fire across a blokbot, the engineer and a Lietuvan soldier. The shots at the soldier miss but the blokbot falls apart while the engineer got shot right in his dong! Never in his life would he had even considered to die in such an embarrassing manner.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
The Retributor critfails her hit roll and suffers some mild burns. The medic fails to hit a blokbot.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
Diána fires her railgun at the doctor...

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
...and at last, she hits something with it and deals one HP damage to him (1 HP remaining)!

Order of Dobrzyń (Brikguy0410):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
Jerzy rushes to the terminal and furiously bashes some commands into the console and inserts the antidote into the insertion slot.
Lab Computer: "Access granted. Missile launch aborted. Inserting neutralization agent... Agent inserted. Viral content neutralized."

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
Dr. Aras Gabrys: "MY MISSILES! MY BEAUTIFUL MISSILES!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THEM YOU LITTLE SHIT?!!"
However, Jerzy doesn't seem to give a crap about the docs shouting. He suddenly felt a feeling of relief that he didn't feel in ages. He managed to save a planet with billions of people from certain annihilation, something he failed to accomplish during the Nutzee attack on Puczysk. It wasn't into now that he finally feels like he was making up for his failure.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
The knights manage to kill the last Lietuvan soldiers, one of which who happened to take a blow meant for Irena.

Blokbots (me):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
Blokbots approach the sisters but couldn't deal any damage. Either due to poor rolls or because they were sprinting into range instead of attacking.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
Same deal here.

Lab Personnel (Falk):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
Even at point blank range, the doc misses the chief librarian.

Security Force (ninja_bait):
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
Irena isn't done with Jerzy yet. Like him, she jumps on the halberds, in order to access the walkway.

ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
And indeed she manages to jump right behind him and stab him in the leg (FEAT SUCCESSFUL). Even though she deals one HP of damage, Jerzy doesn't seem to give a shit.

Final Kills and Points:
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
Coalition: 15 (+1 blokbot)
Lietuvans: 7 (+3 blokbots)
Blokbots: 1

Jerzy Durer: 2/3 HP
Sister Diána 3/3 HP
Librarian: 2/2 HP
Soror Hospitalis: 2/2 HP

Irena Mielkute: 3/3 HP
Dr. Aras Gabrys: 1/3 HP
Red Knight: 0/2 SP
Engineer 0/2 HP
Combat Cart: 3/3 SP

Final Overview:
ImageChemical Warfare - Turn 5
With both missiles being disarmed in time, this battle results in a
COALITION VICTORY!

Thanks for joining to play this forum battle and sending orders in a rapid pace! I hope you had as much fun playing as I had with hosting this battle. Feel free to leave a feedback for next time. Epiloge will be up soon.

Also special thanks to Zahru for helping me out with the battlefield layout and certain ideas for the gameplay!

That Doc, man... worst hero ever? The only guy I remember being worse was Prince Vinambre in once of my inquistadore battles.

The battle was awesome, great battlefield, photography, characters, humour, gameplay, objectives, effects, just great all-around. :tiger: And it got resolved very quickly as well!
