On the first day of G.R. 2013, a squad of T.L.A. troops retreats across a grassy plateau on Refuge, with a much larger VoL force in pursuit.

Image
They have nowhere left to run...

Image
... but a new challenger has just appeared.

Image
For a moment, the battlefield is silent except for the roar of the gunship's jet engines. And then --

Image
DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA

Image
DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA

Image
DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA.

Image
As the gunship moves forward and drops a squad of Assault Commandos, the VoL's resolve begins to waver...

Image
... but when it shits a tank, they break and run away.

Image
As the tank and the gunship's secondary gatling guns mow down the retreating VoL, the victorious T.L.A. troopers begin to chant. " :studgod:! Studs for the Stud God! STUDS FOR THE STUD GOD!"

Image
The S.T.U.D.S. was an effective gunship for many years, but it had several key weaknesses -- notably a need for moar dakka and a total inability to defecate armored vehicles. These problems have been remedied with the Strategic Tankshitting ÜberDakka Gunship of Death (S.T.Ü.D.G.O.D.), a new gunship design that can mow down infantry and armor alike with twenty gun barrels distributed among four gatling guns and poop out tanks like General Patton on Ex-Lax.

Image
The cockpit uses that new cockpit piece. I've wanted one for, like, a year now, but only got it this Saturnalia. There was an Imperial V-wing attached, but that was only a temporary inconvenience.

Image
It looks great, but its structural stability could be better. Maybe over spring break I'll refit it with a Technic frame.

Image
The wingtip engines barely clear the ground when the gear is down.

Image
The Dakka. The heavy, fixed gatling guns were copied from a Britannian Steam Gatling.

Image
The secondary rotary gauss turrets, suitable for anti-fighter defense or infantry strafing.

Image
Two rocket engines allow it to maneuver in orbit, but these ships are rarely used in space combat, as the T.L.A. doesn't use boarding parties or bombers for ship-to-ship combat.

Image
Whole army shot as of the new Galactik Revolution. The mecha and their dropship are being modified, they'll be back soon.

I really like the look of Bob's ship and think that maybe you should look into refitting the other ships to take on that construction theme.

Sleek and sexy. Also, all creations should be introduced guns-a-blazin'.

Blackdog . . . I . . .

. . . I . . .

I want to make love, to that gunship.

But only after I buy it dinner and treat it all lady like first.

And then I will marry it, and make it give birth to my children.
FUCK YOU WARHEAD.

(just little more light in all your photographs) That gunship... all of the T.L.A. airforce looks extremely sleek and deadly. Bobs chief of airforce must be one helluva guy/gal since the military budget is spent so onesided, but them again with these results... thanks for sharing pics Theblackdog, everything looks great.

This gunship makes me jealous because it reminds me of what I wanted to do with my shuttle. Given some free time I may revise it now.
