17thCMEF Assault Marine Squad

Hey guys, finally got around to taking pictures of these guys.



I've got 9 guys in total, 10 if you count the hardsuit. 4 chainsword guys and 5 ranged guys.



The hardsuit is a modified version of the standard marine suit, this version includes a jump pack, and a sword wielding arm.



The jump pack was fun to make.



The ORANGE TRANSPARENT CHAINSWORD was fun to make too.



The jump pack is equipped with a radio.



Assault Marine without his jump pack.



The ranged Assault Marines are still equipped with close range and melee weapons. The rifles have bayonetts and the shotguns are, well shotguns.



The Assault Marines are led by an Iceworld chieftan. Only the Iceworldian Marines can wield the mighty ORANGE TRANSPARENT CHAINSWORD

I'm going to have to copy that jump pack, my Hessen UberJägers use the same helmet/armor. Very nice.

No, they are Aquazone suits. Just took an X-acto to them.

Nice spot Natalya. Didn't see that until you mentioned it. I've been thinking about doing this to my helmet/suits, but can't bring myself to ruin the nice Lego.

I love the jump packs- the addition of the radio on the side really adds something. Something more than just a radio on the side, I mean. It's a nice aesthetic.

The weakness of the clips renders them useless. IMO it might actually be doing a service to those suits if you remove the side clips.

I only have one of them and I'm using that for a comms marine which actually uses the clips for the radio.
