Re: Briktopian Armies
This has been one of my favorite armies but man your older stuff does not stack up to your dreadnought or super tank.
Which are very cool, by the way.

Re: Briktopian Armies
Thanks guys!
Yeah, now that you say it the main battle tanks are basically just boxes with treads. I could try to rebuild them. Need to get more yellow bricks and some track links.
Also the army still lacks proper flying units. MOAR Lego money is required!

Re: Briktopian Armies
It would be better if you add some more soldiers as well

I started on a much smaller scale. Unfortunately the old pictures are all lost.

Hey, we all had to begin somewhere, and as long as you like your own stuff, who cares about scale/numbers? Having a lot of minifigs doesn't correlate with being better (well assterios thought that but we all know how that one go...)motorhead fan wrote: why do i bother posting in the armoury when we have people like apollyon
Having huge awesome stuff is nice and inspiring, but the same can be accomplished with small and well-crafted stuff as well.

I think that just having something you enjoyed creating is good enough, no mattet how good or bad it looks.Zahru II wrote: Having huge awesome stuff is nice and inspiring, but the same can be accomplished with small and well-crafted stuff as well.

Here are things I've been saying. A good story and having fun beat all else. Nothing wrong with pretty on top, though, if you can manage it.
@Apollyon, this is an impressive shot and one of the most visually well defined armies I've seen here.

I totally agree with you. A good story is what makes an army/creation unique.Quantumsurfer wrote:Here are things I've been saying. A good story and having fun beat all else. Nothing wrong with pretty on top, though, if you can manage it.
