Seriously though, this Versatile is an awesome build...

...But the only thing that bugs me about it is that the rudders are KIBBLE!
Since that reminds me too much of Mega Bloks Built-2-Rule and Kre-O Transformers, I have to wonder if there isn't anything you could do about that...

Personally, I'd see if you couldn't replace the left hand's round tile with a swivel plate and attach a rudder to that, making it into a fold out arm blade...
...Then again, it would be rather limp outside of jet mode...


Ironically enough, Briktoid Automata has a vehicle for a similar purpose, but since its pilot program doesn't need a cockpit...

...The weren't constrained by conventional designs!

Why is it that my post contains ONE fucking LDD pic, and people are up in arms about it?

It's the Quadfighter, a Briktoid ship that servers a similar purpose to the Versatile.
Since I doubt Solidus here has SEEN my Armory or LDD threads, I figured he should get a look at what other factions are using to fill the same niche, and maybe I could get his opinion on it as well!

Thank you for your inputs, that unmanned land air fighter reminds me of a droid star fighter with its multipurpose abilities.

Very nice. I thought about a retractable Blade for the arms that double as vertical stableizers, but I havn't worked out the design yet.

I don't care if it's LDD or real. Just stop posting your stuff in other peoples' threads. If you want to make a suggestion, then provide a link to the picture rather then messing another person's thread with your stuff.

These are the kind of armies that make me want to cry. I've tried and failed to do all of these things( the SHIP, transforming fighter, and gunship in that style ) and all of them are in ruins! ( or part of my land fleet... ) your stuff is awesome! I would be honored if you could show some techniques, mostly for the SHIP. But really, your stuff is top notch. I look forward to seeing the black hole launchers in battle.

I can say that I agree with everyone else that you shouldn't hijack other people's threads, now matter you intentions. It would be ok, IMO, to use a link or even a spoiler, but if it isn't you're thread, hide the pic.

P.S. Please don't abandon this thread. I've noticed that like half the threads I post in stop being active, sometimes in mid conversation. Idk why, just thought I'd mention it. If the the thread stops cause of me, I give Solidus permission to do something horrible to me.

Yeah, the Vulture Droid is nice in concept, but the implementation is sorely lacking...

I got to thinking about AMBAC, and how its simplest form would be a Bathysphere with limbs, which eventually lead me to the Giant fucking space claw design.

I think i figured out the Versatile folding blade design. Pictures soon but for now please enjoy pics of some new additions to my parts inventory.



This set came with the ossum peices I needed to rebuild the Space Frigate and then some!


This was totally worth the money.

These things are cheap and come with really nice ball joint bricks.
