The Juggerknight looks really exotic. I like both the arms but the right arm with the bow-like weapon is quite impressive. That new crusader helmet is surely a useful piece for building hardsuits. I also like the dark colorsheme.

I think that would look cool, but it would mean having to make the whole thing a good 2 bricks taller than if I made the bottom open. I also like the idea of the opening bottom better, but that's just my personal taste. I do think I'll add some guns to those parts though, because with only one gun on the front, this thing is severely lacking in cover fire for the troops.

Glad you like it. :D

I don't remember how to make most of it off the top of my head, but I'll be back home in about a week. What parts are you specifically wondering about?

Thanks! I really love the helmet because it's got so much personality. I personally like the Juggerknight better with its original minigun arm (not shown), but I had to ditch it to stick with the theme I have going.

if you could post your instructions on the cockpit with the dark grey clear pieces and then the turret to the left of it, along with maybe the engines, overall, its an awesome piece that i want to mimic and then modify for my own, if you don't mind :)

You're probably right about Bloodwing, but I haven't had the chance to use it in a battle yet, so :mystery: .

Sure thing! The cockpit is actually pretty simple; the secret is this part.

:necro: I finally have some new pictures of these forces, with some significant changes. The pictures aren't that great (a little too much lighting), so sorry about that.

New Unnamed Faction

Image
Hailing from the far reaches of a Savannah-like place, these guys hunt the lions that inhabit their territory. They wear the skins of the slain beasts partly as basic hide armour, and partly for the cultural significance and intimidation. The one at the middle left is their warlord, and the creature on the chain is the result of experiments with lion-minifig hybrids gone wrong.
(This was pretty much just an attempt to use the Chima lion parts.)

Updated Unnamed Faction

Image
Not much has changed with these guys. I removed the motorcycle due to lack of driver, and upgraded the armoured car with a cannon due to the previous lack of heavy firepower.

I kind of liked the old armoured car better (dual wielding machine guns FTW), but they needed a heavy hitter.

Arctic Expeditionary Force

Image
Featuring five standard workers (four with pickaxes and one to man the buddy's harpoon gun), a drvier for the transport, a driver for the hunting snowmobile (forgot to put him in the picture), a medic, a mining specialist and a ski-riding, dual icepick-wielding hero. They ride to battle in a halftrack transport, a hunting snowmobile, and a hunting buggy.
(Completely changed the vehicles, got rid of the helicopter and polar bear, and scrapped the whole Ursus idea. I'm missing a panel for the transport, so hopefully I can resolve that soon.)

The transport has no weapons, but comfortably fits six passengers.

Image
And a driver.

Image
The buggy has no driver (no minifig to fit the part), but we can pretend.
Image
Image
Image
The hunting snowmobile has a twin harpoon gun and a spear.
Image
I was planning to have these guys as contracted soldiers to protect compounds, but I'm not super keen on them anymore. The sergeant is definitely getting scrapped, but I don't have any more of those goggles.
Updated Unnamed Force (formerly the Space Navy)

Image
From left to right: mekanik, fighter pilot, sergeant, three basic troopers, heavy gunner, dropship pilot, and IF trooper.

(Infantry is unchanged except for the addition of the dropship pilot, fighter is revamped, and dropship is finally finished!)

Dropship (yes I took pictures of a white ship on a white background like an idiot):

I wish I had the parts to make a duplicate of the left pilot, but this works.

Holy shit dude. This stuff is blew my mind. You're builds are so polished. Honestly, I'd say even advanced builders could even learn a thing or two from you.

I really like the buggy.
Does a figure fit as a driver?
Can you show us how you built the chassis and wheel attachment?

It can fit a driver, but I don't have the parts for another driver. The rear wheels are just these and these, with the wheels attached with these (all attached to the core studs-out). The front wheel attachment is fragile and awful, and there are probably much better ways to do it. It's this connected to two of these, which are in turn connected to this.
RedRover wrote:How does the dropping platform work?
Just these two parts, used exactly as intended. It doesn't reach all the way down unfortunately, so it has to detach.

Update time!

A couple of months ago I built a plane for the unnamed dark red guys, and didn't get around to taking photos before stowing away my Lego for the school year. I have some time off, so I figured I'd get some quick pictures and post them. The lighting's not great today, so this is the best I could get.

Image

I built this in case I ever got the chance to pit this force against my Cracker Jack Spacemen. Its only armaments are two nose-mounted machine guns.

Features folding landing gear.

Image

Fits one (armless) pilot, though looking at the picture I'm not sure why the arms didn't fit.

Anyway, comments welcome as always.

I also discovered today that I've had the instructions I promised for the windshield on the dropship. Pirateofmayhem doesn't really come around anymore, but here they are anyway in case you were wondering.

Very cool. I like the shaping on the body and the way you used hinges to create the tail angles.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.
