Re: Real Men of the Galaxy Patrol
I love it! Now I want to see a whole arsenal mounted on there.

Re: Real Men of the Galaxy Patrol
Thanks guys. And Obama.
The open back end is supposed to look like an exposed antigrav engine, give it a more fragile look than some of the other (unfinished/ nonexistent) stuff... maybe that doesn't come across like I'd hoped.

Wouldn't this basically a flying gun horse? I really like the guns and the piranha.

Thanks. I suppose it could be a flying Iron Horse... like I said, I haven't statted it out yet exactly.Falk wrote:Wouldn't this basically a flying gun horse? I really like the guns and the piranha.

Here's a Sergeant carrying one of the chainswords I mentioned earlier.

...and a whole bunch of specialist weapons.
A Lascannon. Just a great big size 2 gun.
The HEET Gun. Specifically designed for breaking armored targets, Hyper-Excited Electron Transfer (HEET) weaponry excites matter at the molecular level. This melts it, basically.
Ideally, these weapons would have the ability to ignore/bypass armor, but I have no idea how many points that ability should be worth.
The HEET Cannon, a size 2 HEET Gun essentially.
A Flamer.
Good for exterminating vermin.
Finally, Captain Titus, a Galaxy Patrol leader-type:
A better look at his big hammer.
His backpack is a personal Forcefield projector.
A group shot... this is most of what I have so far, although there are at least 15-20 troops not in the picture here.

Holy crap, I didn't realize you had that many. How much do those all cost?
The special weapons and accompanying backpacks look great. I can't wait to see these guys in action.

I bought most of them at either the Lego Store or, when they ran out, Toys R Us. Oh, some Target too. But they were either $3 or $3.20 each, plus a couple Pick-a-Brik orders to get some parts.
So most of my Lego budget, basically.

I really love all of the backpack designs
Re: Real Men of the Galaxy Patrol
Thanks! In truth, if I could get ahold of 1x1 round earth blue bricks in bulk, all the troopers would be wearing a backpack like the Captain's but with those instead of the trans-purple cones.darkpaladin wrote:I really love all of the backpack designs
