Thanks guys. And... My god.

Polar Bear cavalry. That's probably the best idea ever. I'm so going to do that.

Two new units join the ranks of the Frostbornian Ranks.

The Scouts.

And introducing, a starting example of Frostborne's hopefully successful line of siege engines: The Kannon.

I like, especially those spiky side shields.

I love the pose of the three riders, but I wish the lighting was better. Can you take the shot again in daylight?

Why is your camera making images that are using Index color?

I wouldn't know, my knowledge of camera terminology is pretty horrible. All I can say is this was a cheap-ish camera and I have a feeling I screwed up the settings somewhere down the line. Is indexed color a bad thing? I think I read somewhere it makes images hard to edit via photoshop.

Update: New Look, more troops, same icy ranks

Since their descent from the icy mountain range in the Norselands, Jarl Barbous has been amassing a “defensive force” with the help of appointed general, Urgis. With the successful pilgrimage and small settlement built at the foot of the mountains, the Forstbornians can finally venture into the world below them. They do not come unprepared however, they are equipped with some of the finest steel and fitted to keep the cold at bay, for even the people of Frostborne feel the deepest chills of winter.

Image

We begin with the main infantry, the Frostbornian Armsmen. These warriors are equipped almost exclusively for close-combat, but they can use their spears to throw at the enemy from afar if they're feeling flexible. They're also much more wintry looking, as they are lacking the original color scheme the originals had.

Image

The bowmen. Swift-footed and keen-eyed, these minifigs are the main ranged troops.

Image

Heavy Armsmen. Used to pack a real punch through any close-combat combatants and structures (giant war hammers and all), they move slower than their their lighter-armored counterparts, but they make up for it in sheer brute force.

Image

These are the Halberdiers. The halberds I kept the same, kudos to Lord Mercat for inspiring me to sort of copy the design, and they are wearing generally the same armor and color scheme as the Heavy Armsmen. My heavy-armored troops are all running the same basic color scheme.

The Frostbornian cavalrymen are one of my favorite as far as design and color scheme go, I really like how these guys turned out.
