The Great War: The Empire Of Ethias Updated 6/08/2019

Post by bann154 » Tue Sep 13, 2016 1:09 am

Ethias lays to the north of the Union States but south of The Common Wealth they are highly advanced technologically boasting many types of man portable automatic weapons and high caliber cannons but that is not all they are known to dabble in the occult and dark practices done only in secret in other countries.
Image
Overwatch. Currently they have 24 Soldats, 12 Combat Engineers, 1 Hero, 2 Tarantels, 1 Eber, and 1 Esel. Im currently working on some field guns and HMG's to add to the army.
Image
The standard Soldat makes up most of the Ethian military each one is armed with a rifle.
Image
Combat Engineers act as both a heavy infantry force as well as specializing demolition unit. Each Combat Engineer is armed with a rifle and axeonet.
Image
Karl Schmidt is a tactician without equal he has led his division to victory countless times he is also a master swordsman. He is accompanied by a veteran command squad featuring a medic a radio operator and a flamethrower.
Image
The Esel is the mainstay tank of the Ethian military it is an older design but a reliable one well liked by its crew it mounts a forward fixed cannon and machinegun to take down infantry. 4 men can ride it 2 on each side by grabbing the handles.
Image
With the initial field tests of the Tarantel they were deemed under armed and under armoured as such a newer MK2 version has been produced. The newer version mounts an anti tank cannon as well as two machine guns.
Image
The Eber is a medium sized quad walker that mounts two smaller caliber cannons and two flame throwers optimizing it for close fighting conditions.

Totally digging that donkey tank.
I know it's a Great War scenario, but a new colour scheme besides grey wouldn't hurt.

You are probably right might throw some dark red or black into it.

That's a pretty rad justification for poor decaling though

Hot damn, that tank is the stuff of my brikdreams! I love the 'playabillity' of your factions. I feel that I could pick up any of your builds for the Great war and swing them around going 'woosh' and 'brakabrakabrakabrakabrakabraka" and not have to worry about them falling apart. that's some damn good shit, man. I also love the decaling work!

the decals could be better but at least you tried. more than I can say

I have like 40 or 50 guys with black cop torsos that I've just covered up with shaped electrical tape.

why cover them with electrical tape? Just clean the torso with an eraser of a tiny bit of nail polish. then you got basic black torsos.
