Current Lineup

Ikraine

The Tiniest Tiger
Image"The Tiniest Tiger" by Zebra The Annoyed, on Flickr
Following in the footsteps of the empire's ideological and national forebears, the great mass of Ikraine's youth, orphaned by the constant wars of both colonial and continental intrigue, are thrust into combat training programs at the age of 12. Only the most skilled and ideologically devoted  enter the heavy  tank battalions of the waffle-excess. The Панзеркампфваґен 12 Аусф. Б here was formed of a mishmash of already unreliable previous designs and had an alarming tendency to catch fire which, when combined with the poor design and location of any escape hatches, resulted in the often underaged and understrength crew being fried to death

The Ikrainian Waffle-Excess are named for their success at protecting important convoys during the early phases of the sugar wars

Conscripts

Payed in low grade honey and "life experience" if they somehow make it off the landing beaches alive

General Von Wieseldorf

A high ranking member in the armed forces of one of Ikraine's many satellite states

The United Cantons

Light Tank

My thinking is the antennae are because its a command tank and needs the long radio range to boss other tanks around. The blue flag plays nicely off the yellow colour scheme down below, which has nice stripes in white and dark bluish grey. The technical parts of the turret are in light bluish grey and stand out quite nicely. It looks to me kinda like a universal carrier. it has quite a low profile but that wouldnt be particularly helpful for stealth thanks to that flag and the bright colours

Martians & Moonmen

Tankette
ImageMartian Tankette by Zebra The Annoyed, on Flickr
Sent by the martian empire as part of an expeditionary force to aid in the defence of the Moon and secure supply routes of valuable sugar and spice. Soon after initial deployment, one claimed the young lives of famous tank ace Victor Ivanovich and his crew on the eve of his birthday by blasting its cannon into the fragile rear armour of their "tiny tiger" heavy tank

Light Tank
ImageCaptured by Zebra The Annoyed, on Flickr
After fierce fighting throughout the islands of the insular crescent, a complete specimen of a lunar tank is captured by the United Cantons marines. It appears to be constructed out of components from the martian space furnaces - a sure sign that the furious lunar assault on the earth received outside help.

Aliens

They call themselves "a-lines" and come from the moon and interfering in the never ending struggles of the planet down below

ImageUnited Cantons light tank 2 electric boogaloo by Zebra The Annoyed, on Flickr
updated with new 6 wide construction due to me overcoming my laziness to hunt down parts to make the suspension fit under the tank

also my style is a weird mix of cyber and diesel and twee and all the kinds of punk. hell looking at the colour scheme its even a little solar punk... thats what I get for listening to punk rock all day

feedback would be nice

If I have any feedback, it's that overhead isometric shots aren't showing these off to best advantage - good for understanding the construction, but hard to get a feel for their personalities from the angles you're shooting from. Can you bring the camera in lower and closer?

tanks-encyclopedia.com wrote:From the hedgerow of Normandy, France, to the hills of Italy and the plains of Netherlands, the Firefly was one of the few Allied tanks the Germans learned to fear… Among the most potent Allied conversion of the war, and certainly one of the deadliest version of the Sherman, it was a clever -although risky and improvised- move to try to keep up with the latest German tank developments. At that time, the “basic” M4 Sherman equipped the Allies almost exclusively, from the US to the British, Canadian, ANZACS, Free Polish and Free French forces, and its limitations were well known before 1944.

Its basic 75 mm (2.95 in) gun was excellent to deal with other tanks at reasonable ranges and against armor up to 75 mm (2.95 in), or against fortifications and infantry. But facing the latest versions of the Panzer IV, the Panther and Tiger, it was woefully inadequate. However, the British Army had just received the superlative 17 pounder, which proved itself able to nail any known Panzer. Mated with the Sherman, this stopgap combination (before the new generation of Allied tanks could enter service) became lethal, and added its own weight to the Allied effort to secure victory.

Now this stylish APC is nice and all, but what i you actually want to shoot something and you don't want to rely on the puny guns of your infantry?

Wow, that's really sharp photography.  What material are you using as a backdrop?
I make spaceships and spaceship accessories.

At first I was thinking poster board.
Then I zoomed into that butt shot, the paper seems a bit rough, so now I'm guessing construction paper.
I would expect construction paper bends easier.
