Kast's Faction Index

Post by Kastrenzo » Thu Jan 31, 2019 11:44 pm

In observance of Ragnablok 2019, I "reset" my old kanon, and remade a few factions, Physically many are the same, but with some thematic changes.

Below you will find an index of all of my own armies and other groups. Each post will have at least 1 picture of assembled minifigs and vehicles. It may also have a faction insignia, and/or a Wiki article. All descriptions and details will be found only on the wiki articles.

Pictures themselves will simply have short descriptions telling what is in each picture.
If you want to see what's what, and don't want to look at the wiki page. Click on the link to go to flickr, I have marked out what each unit or group of units is.

Major
The largest, most developed, and most featured armies, Having well around 100 Minifigs, or otherwise backed up by significant amounts of vehicles and war machines
Monolith Imperiya
Stroiteliga Bratva

Signifigant
Medium sized, lesser developed but still somewhat significant Armies. Usually hovering around the 40 Minifig mark
Armata Alliance
The First Echelon
Black Legion
Vorhut Order
Cordova Coalition
The Syndicate

Minor
Smaller Factions that are less developed and just don't make the cut, usually revolving around a specific style or theme, and under 40 Minifigs and The smallest organized factions, Usually consisting of a small unique design comprising no more than 15 minifigs.
Svoboda Clan
Insurgent Crew
Settlement Defense Alliance
Greene Cartel
Kriegir Clans
Phalanx Iota

Slavonic Imperiya

Image
http://brikwars.com/wiki/index.php?title=Imperiya

The Imperiya is an overgrown titan of a faction, Revolving around the principles of making other minifigs calm and orderly. Advocating "Security, Law and Order*, concepts that are all but heretical to some Minifigs. Their oppressive ways are backed up by Tidal waves of soldiers, Elite troops, heavy war machines, and dozens of officers, commanders, and heroes. Their way of life is often a raison d'être for many other groups. Whether to fight against them, or to take advantage of the power they wield and use as an advantage to their own agendas.

Led by the co-commanders Varone and Sergachev, They hold dominion over dozens if not hundreds of plates, And are one of the few powers in the area capable of maintaining a presence on the Omega Realm, the legendary infinite underworld dimension of the battleplates

This picture was taken in 2017-2018. The army is Currentley too big to fit on the tables I have available at the moment, but it's remained mostly the same, individual pics of the 2019 appearance is below , eventually once it's working again, I'll spoiler it
Image20171123_002506 by Charon, on Flickr

As of April 10, 2019. The Spoiler function of the forum is broken, one it's functional again, you'll be able to open it and see some of the newer group pictures I took of the army. There's a few things in those pictures that I don't, or haven't yet gone into detail over with the army and navy

Combat Medik
ImageImperiya Combat Mediks by Charon, on Flickr
The Combat Medik is a support specialist that accompanies many Infantry squads, they carry medikal supplies to save incapacitated and wounded comrades on the field

Heavy Weapons
ImageImperiya Heavy Weapons Troopers by Charon, on Flickr
Weapon specialists using squad level artillery like Recoiless Launchers and heavy machineguns

Rangers
ImageImperiya Pathfinders by Charon, on Flickr
Rangers are light infantry that do a multitude of jobs revolving around operating away from the frontlines. Like Scouting, Observing, and trapping areas.

Engineers
ImageImperiya Inzheneri by Charon, on Flickr
Construction and repair specialists who maintain the fortifications and support equipment of the Armiya

Armiya Shock Troopers
ImageImperiya Shock Troopers by Charon, on Flickr
Veteran Troops who specialize in direct combat more than their regular counterparts. Sporting a distinctive armor style that is rumored to be passed down from another time.

Slag Missile Launcher
ImageImperiya "Slag" Missile launcher by Charon, on Flickr
Imperiya's Emplaced launcher, the "Slag" is a guided missile capable of serious damage to tanks and armored carriers. It's vulnerability requires the team to find a safe position before shooting

Enforcers
ImageImperiya Bulwark Troopers by Charon, on Flickr
Enforcers are brutish shield carriers that assist Shock Troops in tight quartered situations. Drawing the enemy's attention, protecting allies, or attacking enemies with an intimidating shield wall.

Shock Trooper Vanguard
ImageImperiya Shturmovi Vanharda by Charon, on Flickr
Shock Trooper Vanguards are weapon specialists using advanced pulse rifles and rifle rocket attachments. Something of a heavy weapons unit used to punch through a position when that extra oomph is needed, without bringing in tanks and artillery

Shturmovi Blyskavka
ImageImperiya Blyskavka (Elite Shock Troopers) by Charon, on Flickr
Shturmovi Blyskavka, or "Elite Shock Troops" are the strongest, best equipped and best trained line infantry in the Armiya ground units. They use a variety of advanced pulse weapons and explosives and sport sleeker armor than their subordinates. Membership among this Unit is reserved for veterans of the Faction. Only those who've proven themselves in battle. As a reward, they are given access to a lot of high tek gadgets for their person to use in combat. Including implants

Dragoons
ImageImperiya Dragoons by Charon, on Flickr
Dragoons are a special unit within the Shturmovik who use close quarter weapons and jetpacks, Crashing into enemy troops and blasting away, or dropping bombs on vehicles and beating it out of there in a hurry

Vampir Warp Cannon
ImageGrshock_(3) by Charon, on Flickr
The Vampir "Vampire" Warp Cannon is the Blyskavka's dedicated anti-vehicular weapon. A warp cannon is a light matter disintegrator that can literally blow holes in a structure or vehicle. And has an impressive range and accuracy

Stalker Spetsnaz
ImageImperiya Stalker Spetsnaz by Charon, on Flickr

ImageImperiya Stalker Spetsnaz by Charon, on Flickr
Stalkers are the elite special forces of the Imperiya, serving in both the Armiya and Flota, they employ the best training and gear available to any soldier in the faction. Using a wide range of personally selected weapons and tools.

Psioniks
ImageImperiya Psioniks by Charon, on Flickr
The Monolith Imperiya maintains a small cadre of Psionik gifted warriors who can use a number of awesome and wholly unnatural powers almost like a Wizard or Mage

Desolators
ImageImperiya Desolators by Charon, on Flickr
Desolators are fanatics given powerful chemical sprayers and lots of drugs, and set loose on the enemy. Officially the Desolator sprayer is a "Anti Structural weapon" but in reality, it's an out of control death machine that melts Structures, Vehicles and Minifigs alike, Allies are advised to stay well clear, incase they blow up.

Svarog Suits
Image20180904_194107 by Charon, on Flickr
Svarogs are heavy infantry hardsuit units that support some Squads with heavy weapons, targeting and morale support. They carry wrist mounted automatic pulse rifles, a heavy machinegun and an advanced ocular linked targeting computer on their backs.

Officers
ImageImperiya Officers (Combat Gear) by Charon, on Flickr
Junior officers, Like Leytenants, and Kapitans are the commissioned officers unlucky enough to have to lead troops into battle, When in combat they wear dark red trimmed attire, and normally spend their days running around barking orders that go ignored, only to get killed by glory seekers

Senior Officers
ImageImperiya Senior Officers by Charon, on Flickr
Senior officers, Ranked Mayor and Polkovnik and Komdir are normally the ones in charge of an army during a campaign. But thankfully unlike their lower ranked peons, they can normally bark their useless orders from the safety of a trench, bunker or command post. They wear grey trimmed armor, and often fancy fur hats and collars

Vehicles

Moskit
Image20190410_002423 by Charon, on Flickr
The Moskit is a lightly armored fire support drone. Often used in urban battles to haul gear, casualties, or to sacrifice in battle rather than risking a live trooper.

D1 Pionka
Image20190410_002413 by Charon, on Flickr
The Pionka is the Monolith Imperiya's primary howitzer model. Designed to be towed, but light enough that a bunch of strong Minifigs could move it. It lobs shells at great distance for some amusing fireworks

Husky
ImageHusky Truck by Charon, on Flickr
The Husky is a light work and service truck used mostly by base patrols, engineers and other non combat units.

Samoyed
ImageSamoyed by Charon, on Flickr
The Samoyed is a heavy duty Utility truck, used for moving Crates, equipment and occasionally minifigs. It's box walls are somewhat armored and the vehicle can somewhat protect it's cargo

Malamute
Image20190410_002455 by Charon, on Flickr
The Malamute is a heavy duty utility Rig that is used for heavy towing and recovery, as well as overweight cargo

Zaton
ImageZaton by Charon, on Flickr
The Zaton is a mobile Command Vehicle, equipped with Communication and Mapping equipment, it's often used as a temporary Command Post for an operation.

Koyot
Image20190410_002440 by Charon, on Flickr
The Koyot is a light offroad utility vehicle primarily used by scouts and in unison with a Zaton van, they are unarmed and lightly armored, but carry very powerful optics used for spotting long range targets, and finding stealth units

Grenzer
ImageHunter by Charon, on Flickr
The Grenzer is the Imperiya's main armored transport for small operations. With Medium armor, big wheels, and a remote controlled gun. It can hold 4 minifigs. The vehicle platform is somewhat aged, and due to be retired at the earliest opportunity

Pandur
ImageArmadillo by Charon, on Flickr
The Pandur is a heavier command variant of the Grenzer. More capacity for occupants. It also carries a number of grenades in addition to the same remote controlled gun on the lighter Carriers. The vehicle is normally designated as the command vehicle in a squad equipped with several Grenzers.

Dozor
ImageDozor by Charon, on Flickr
The Dozor is the closest thing the Monolith Imperiya has to a wheeled APC. Although it's not as heavily armored as one should be, It sports big wheels, a powerful drive, and a big machinegun. The Vehicle isn't used as much since the whole model was more or less made obsolete by replacements in other fields.

Yeger
Image2019-04-10_12-22-22 by Charon, on Flickr
The Yeger is a new vehicle introduced in R2019 that it's designers planned to have it compete with the Dozor, or Pandur. So far it's really done nothing but add more confusion to the faction's wheeled APC problem. Sporting heavier armor but still carrying Stupidly obvious weak points in the cockpit. Imperiya engineers seem to be obsessed with making their vehicles a big truck first, and a fighting vehicle second.

Bryusa
ImageCondor by Charon, on Flickr
The Bryusa IFV is Monolith Imperiya's primary frontline transport. Armored like a tank and bristling with anti-infantry weapons. It's suspension leaves something to be desired. But overall the vehicle has been solid for their Army for a long time.

Kodiak
ImageKodiak2 by Charon, on Flickr
The Kodiak is Monolith Imperiya's medium battle tank, with a crew of 3, a medium caliber gun and heavily armored. It is well suited for going up against light vehicles, infantry, and light tanks.

Rakushka
ImageRakushka by Charon, on Flickr
The Rakushka Heavy Tank is Monolith Imperiya's most heavily armored and weaponized vehicle that is in frontline service. With a crew of 4. Sporting a long barreled gun, Laser target system, and a semi-autonomous pulse machinegun. It is more than capable of rolling over tanks and troops alike.

Malka
ImageBmaster by Charon, on Flickr
The Malka is a "Seige Tank" which is a designation for a heavy tank that is designed for both artillery firing, and attacking hardened structures. It's slow, extremely heavy, and moderately armored. But the "Molotok" Gun it carries is powerful enough to flip an APC or small tank just with the explosive force alone.

Ogre
ImageSamson by Charon, on Flickr
The Ogre is a Super Heavy Tank that acts as both a mobile command post as well as a twin barreled death monster. Bristling with OT guns, Flamethrowers, Machineguns, and even some big stupid ram blades on the front, The Ogre is Imperiya's Signature vehicle, until something dumber gets dreamed up in an R/D lab.

Aircraft/Spacecraft

Berkut
ImageBerkut by Charon, on Flickr
The Berkut is a Gunship-Transport hybrid, a flying tank with armor busting cannons, rockets, and a cargo bay large enough to carry several minifigs. It's VTOL engines are loud and powerful. And the Berkut is known to make a distinct howling noise as it flies by as some kind of intimidation factor design.

Strela
ImageStrilka by Charon, on Flickr
The Strela is the Imperiya Flota's primary snub fighter. Controlled by a single pilot, fast, nimble and hard to hit. It's armed with twin pulse autocannons. And two Guided missiles.

Barsuk
ImageBarsuk by Charon, on Flickr
The Barsuk is a Heavy Fighter-Bomber, a twin seat variant of the Strela with heavy caliber guns, Large lock on missiles, and a whole bomb bay full of cluster bombs.

Vorhut Order

Image

The Vorhut is a fanatical militant arm of a religious order known as the Moloch (or Molokh) Who through their dedication to upholding their idols principles and teachings.., and the expulsion of everything heretical, impure and mutated. They wield considerable power for their size, Driven by fanatical beliefs and big guns, Vorhut establishes bases all over the battleplates, serving as points to hunt Mutants, Heretics, and anything else they deem unfit for life. Their attitudes bring them into conflict with Demon worshippers like the Damned, Peaches, and incidentally, any group that opposes them for their actions, like Svoboda

Vorhut's forces comprise of heavily armored assault troopers with machineguns and rockets, Elite "Confessor" unit leaders, as well as support from lesser equipped militias.

Militants
Image20190409_002914 by Charon, on Flickr
Fanatical volunteers and followers of Vorhut who use whatever weapons and armor they can get their hands on. They serve as little more than an auxillary or support group to the main fighting forces.

Knights
Image20190409_002640 by Charon, on Flickr
The fully fledged members of the Vorhut, trained in heavy weapons, and clad in crimson armor. The Knights are a heavy infantry force that serves as the frontline of the Army

Paladins
Image20190409_002517 by Charon, on Flickr

The Vorhut Raider is a light buggy used for scouting and patrolling, It's unarmed but capable of running folks over.

Guardian

The Guardian is Vorhut's armored Carrier. A jacked up truck with extra armor , a sealed cargo bay and a remote machine gun

Crusader

Stroiteliga Bratva

Image
http://brikwars.com/wiki/index.php?title=Bratva

Stroiteliga Bratva is a rival faction to Imperiya, When the "Old Alliance" of Civil Defenders broke apart because of plots employed by the Black Legion, About half of it's leaders formed the Stroiteliga Bratva, or "Builders League Brotherhood" An alliance of military trained groups dedicated to protecting the "Free Cities" of the plates. Bratva touts itself as the Free and Just alternative to the Imperiya, but both share similarities in their mission

Bratva military units Comprise of both professional troops as well as sympathetic mercenaries. They also weild considerable numbers of light and heavy war machines, and Elite units.

Image20190127_030347 by Dic Jacobus, on Flickr

Infantry

Grunts
Image800px-Zag0 by Charon, on Flickr
The Regular footsoldiers of Bratva are clad in black armor, uniforms and helmets, And weild oddly designed flechette rifles. Like most competing factions, their job on the battlefield is to take ground, hold it, and also to act as cannon fodder for their betters.

Storm Troopers
Image800px-Zag1 by Charon, on Flickr
Heavy armored veterans and mercenaries that form Bratva's primary frontal attack units. Storm Troopers and Regulars often mix into each others units.

RPG Troopers
Image800px-Zag2 by Charon, on Flickr
The simple Rocket propelled grenade launcher is a widely popular weapon amongst several Monolith factions, Bratva is no exception

Struska
Image800px-Zag5 by Charon, on Flickr
The Struska is a guided missile launcher not unlike the Imperiya Slag missile. Although it uses a cheaper assembly, it's no less effective.

Harpuna
Image800px-Zag7 by Charon, on Flickr
The Harpuna is another guided missile, although considerably more deadly, more accurate, and a longer range. It can turn on a dime and sometimes hit armor in weak spots like their tops, or under their side plates if timed correctly by their user

Utonici
Image800px-Zag3 by Charon, on Flickr
Utonici are the Bratva Elite troops, often sent on special and dangerous missions critical to the faction's objectives. They wear the best armor available to the group

Kommando
Image800px-Zag4 by Charon, on Flickr
Kommandos are Bratva's special forces, like Utonici, they're sent on special missions but ones where all out assault isn't an option, those that require a little finesse.

Vehicles

Scout
ImageZ1 by Charon, on Flickr
The Bratva Scout is a light utility transport vehicle with a small machinegun and a limited life support system, Designed as a patrol and recon vehicle. It's still capable of defending itself if brought into a fight.

Striker
ImageZ6 by Charon, on Flickr
The Striker is a small, robotic light tank that's used to ambush enemy vehicles, and support infantry units. It's armed with a light gun, and machinegun. It is fully autonomous, or remote controlled

Skimmer
ImageZ5 by Charon, on Flickr
The Skimmer is a hover prototype of the Striker, Fulfilling the same role, except more mobility.. and cooler

Krunyr
ImageZ3 by Charon, on Flickr
The Krunyr is Bratva's primary APC, well protected and heavily armed with a heavy machinegun, and a Struska missile launcher.

Medved
ImageZ4 by Charon, on Flickr
The Bratva Medved, according to the Imperiya, is a knockoff of their Kodiak tank. They may be right in that it's a copy, but it's a superior copy. Heavier armor, and a much stronger gun.

Vancard
ImageZ2 by Charon, on Flickr
The Vancard is Bratva's heavy tank. large treads, heavy armor slabs, and a powerful gauss cannon and autocannon combonation.

The First Echelon

Image

Image2019-09-19_01-18-29 by John Thumb, on Flickr

Hailing from the Southern districts, The First Echelon is a smaller but still signifigant faction that is probably the 4th or 5th largest active in the realm in terms of membership and power. They're an aggressive group led by the enigmatic figure known only as "Toph". They became quite notorious after a period of attacks and raids on neutral cities, as well as picking fights with several other empires for seemingly no reason. In the hectic period known as The Lag, Echelon ended up seizing control of many resource zones critical to the high tek industry of the Alpha Plates, thus giving them a signifigant amount of sway despite being a smaller group.

Their army is well equipped with high tek weaponry. They use both regular soldiers as well as elite troops, Both have weapons that suffer reduced aiming penalties for longer range combat.

Echelon Soldiers
Image20190923_003239 by John Thumb, on Flickr
While The First Echelon's elite troops are more recognizable. They also train a lot of basic grunts to pump up their numbers. Echelon grunts wear a mix of different kit items for their armor, and they also utilize high tech scoped rifles and gauss cannons for fighting vehicles

Echelon Elite
Image20190923_003525 by John Thumb, on Flickr
Echelon Elites are well trained and equipped storm troopers armed with big fuggin guns to obliterate their enemies. Squad leaders are also equipped with a compact railgun that fires explosive rounds on par with a small grenade.

Echelon Weapon Specialists
Image20190923_003936 by John Thumb, on Flickr
If the regular armament of the Echelon Infantry and Elites wasn't enough, they also deploy specialist units with machineguns or laser cannons for fighting squads of troops, and vehicles respectively.

Gun Truck
Image20190923_014858 by John Thumb, on Flickr

Echelon is yet to introduce their own light vehicle, they generally aren't a fan of using them. The exception to this is the gun trucks. Light gun carriers that are outfitted with long range heavy machineguns, and used more or less as a mobile pillbox. normally crewed by two, they can however be kitted out with a remote fire system, allowing a single user to both drive and gun, at a moderate penalty to accuracy.

Mayko IFV
Image20190923_014928 by John Thumb, on Flickr

Image20190923_014935 by John Thumb, on Flickr

Image20190923_014943 by John Thumb, on Flickr

The Mayko is a heavy armored vehicle meant to serve as a troop carrier, but tough enough to almost be considered a tank if it wasn't for it's armament. A single machinegun on it's roof. Rumors have it that the Echelon may upgrade the Mayko in the future to up-gun this beast, though.

Longbow Tank
Image20190923_015018 by John Thumb, on Flickr

Image20190923_015011 by John Thumb, on Flickr

Image20190923_015006 by John Thumb, on Flickr

The Echelon Longbow is a Medium tank on par with several other faction's from the realm. The Longbow is lighter armored, and somewhat faster than most competitors, However it makes up for it's lacking armor with a very powerful and accurate gun in a small package. Dealing less explosive radius damage in exchange for reduced penalties to long range.

Regarding the Mayko

Armata Alliance

Image
http://brikwars.com/wiki/index.php?title=Armata

The Armata Alliance started as a militarized self defense group for Citizens of the surrounding plate regions. It is considered to be the third largest faction or clan from the Battleplates, and is known to rival both the Bratva and the Imperiya. Their troops are known to use a variety of scavenged and looted weapons, And they are one of the only groups that uses both Combat Walkers, and Hovercraft.

Image20190127_160727 by Dic Jacobus, on Flickr

Armata Infantry
Image20190603_005626 by Charon, on Flickr
The Armata's regular Infantry are a decentley trained and equipped fighting force like all their rivals, trained to do simple combat with small arms.

RPG Marines
Image20190603_005949 by Charon, on Flickr
Armata also employs a light RPG for their ground forces, although they use a different kind of warhead compared to Bratva and Imperiya

Veteran Marines
Image20190603_010036 by Charon, on Flickr
Upon a sufficent time in the group, or after accomplishing notable deeds in battle, Marines are granted veterancy and given access to more gear and a wider range of weapons.

Special Forces
Image20190603_012158 by Charon, on Flickr
The Elite Troopers of Armata are given jetpacks, advanced armor and experimental weaponry. They are a less common sight than other group's equivalents.

LP80 Matti
ImageLP180 "Matti" Hovertank by dicjacobus, on Flickr
The Matti is Armata's medium tank, a large flat hover base with reactive armor siding and a small twin barreled energy gun. It's slow, loud and conspicuous, but it's highly manuverable

Svoboda Clan

Image
http://brikwars.com/wiki/index.php?title=Svoboda

Svoboda, translation meaning "Freedom" is a smaller Clan that rose up in response to the Vorhut Order, an organization of Anarchists and Shit Disturbers who like nothing more than to disrupt the serious business hard-asses of Powers like Vorhut and Imperiya, Their small size limits them primarily to guerilla tactics, But they prove a constant thorn in the side of factions much larger than them. Svoboda troops generally do not follow any standard uniform or equipment theme, Everyone simply gathering more equipment as they continue to be successful.

Black Legion
"Let the Universe Burn!"

Image

A Legion of the Damned, brought on by the events of Ragnablok. The Black legion is the cancer of the Battleplates, a warband of Dark Magik users and Demonic worshippers who raid, pillage and burn across the known world. Appearing out of nowhere and vanishing just as quickly, the Warband of the Black Legion has declared war against the rest of the Brikverse, Their patron god "Chernobog" implores them to engage in an endless war, and bring death and destruction to all forces of Order and Peace.

The Black Legion's forces primarily consist of heavily armed and armored, battle hardened mentally unstable fiends who relish the chance to Slaughter, and be slaughtered in Chernobog's honor. They cannot be reasoned with,

Chaos Marines
Image20190409_003420 by Charon, on Flickr
The corrupted, twisted and insane footsoldiers of the Legion, Chaos Marines come from all walks of life, and when they join the service of the Dark God, they typically fashion their own tainted, edgy armor. They use mostly the same weapon, a Slug firing automatic rifle

Hell Knights

Hell Knights are the heavily armored veterans of the legion, utilizing heavy cannons more suited for use in a tank than a footsoldier.. some also weild huge melee weapons like swords, axes and hammers. They are feared on the battlefield and known for leading groups of lesser minions.

Devastators
Image20190409_004704 by Charon, on Flickr
Devastators are the Legion's demolition specialists... They use rockets and explosives to destroy enemy vehicles and structures.

Sorcerers
Image20190409_004110 by Charon, on Flickr
Practicers of Dark and Evil Magik, Black Sorcerers use the power of the elements, usually fire and stone to kill their enemies, they also support their allies by making magik shields and summoning demonfigs to do their bidding in battle

Shades
Image20190409_004338 by Charon, on Flickr
While the Legion is the very definition of a lack of subtlety, Shades are nonetheless Legion agents who practice cloak and dagger techniques, Swords in the back, or a sniper slug in the face... When the Legion needs to do something unexpected.

Basilisk Tank

The Basilisk is the Legion's primary model of battle tank. Comparable to Imperiya Bratva and Vorhut tanks. It is heavily armored with gruesome spikes and haphazardly applied extra protection. And bristling with weapons

The Syndikat

Image
http://brikwars.com/wiki/index.php?title=Syndikat

The Syndikat (or Syndicate) is a secretive alliance of corporations that's militarized assets stalk the battleplates in an endless war to sabotage rivals, and steal their treasures or secrets. The group's leader is not known, as it's led by a "Shadow Council", Syndikat's forces are all about stealth. Striking from the shadows and even going as far as using cloaking tek. They are almost as despised as the Black Legion due to their tendancy to attack pretty much everyone.

Syndikate Operatives are elite troopers with weapons and armored copied and improved on from other rival factions, and their vehicles all employ some kind of stealth technology, whether hiding themselves from radars and detectors, to outright cloaking to the naked eye.

Kurosai Buntai

Kurosai Buntai

This image isn't actually a full showcase, I didnt put all of the minifigs out at the time and didnt care to re-take the picture since it was just more of the same
The Kurosai Buntai (Kurosai Group) is a minor faction associated with the Monolith Imperiya, hailing from the Nu plates, specifically the Kurosai region. They were somehow managed to gain association status with the Imperiya and it's allies, and they provide regional security as well as special crystal mining resources.

Buntai troops utilizes a mixture of high and low tek weaponry. In addition to pulse and laser weapons, they are also known to brandish Katanas, Kanabos and other brutal close quarters weapons that they use to bum rush their foes with

Buntai Kyu-Maru Laser Tank

The Kyu-Maru (Eastern script for Type 90) is a smaller battle tank with an unordinary turret design. Featuring a laser cannon, pulse gun and optional missiles. Built on top of the same Alliance Template that the Imperiya, Bratva, Echelon and several other groups make their vehicles on. The Kyu-Maru is noticably lighter armored than the Imperiya or Sindrian Kodiaks that it fights alongside Featuring no side skirts and a tucked in crewless turret. Making it very similar to the Echelon's design.

Insurgent

The Insurgent Crew is a small Battle clan who carry an affinity for getting involved in the middle of other group's fights. They love to destroy towns and cities in the intense fighting their urban warfare style brings. They exclusively recruit Peach minifigs.
They don't have a home base, as they are constantly on the move, but they do hold influence in the Tau and Upsilon clusters, both already noted for being contested between other factions.

Image20190127_162348 by Dic Jacobus, on Flickr

Insurgent Crew doesn't have any uniform or standard equipment. Smaller groups within the faction may wear distinct styles, but the majority will just throw together the most efficient gear for the job from what they can find.

Jungle Goons

Not really a concrete faction, just some generic jungle camo goons used as cannon fodder in soaps or battles

Kriegir

The Kriegir Clans are a smaller group known for high quality equipment and their distinctive yellow patterned armor. However being one of the smallest groups in the fray, their spiffy equipment is mostly an afterthought. Krieger is notorious for petty violence for the sake of it. They've developed a reputation of Sometimes trading-sometimes raiding. They aren't Quite Reavers. But they're a warlike, paganistic society that relishes combat nonetheless

Image20190127_174157 by Dic Jacobus, on Flickr

Krieger Clan has developed it's own basic armor and weapons. And they are one of the only minor groups to have their own vehicles. Namely their "Blitz" APC. The design and performance was so good that Imperiya Engineers tried to talk them into selling it to them

Phalanx Clan

The Phalanx Clan is a minor faction led by Bruno, an egotistical tough guy. Phalanx often join wars alongside other factions and play a minor role in some of their flanks. Phalanx troops usually wear heavy armor and carry heavy weapons.
