After the Third Impact engulfed the entirety of Three Letter Acronym (T.L.A.) space, the rest of the Galaxy assumed that they had been completely wiped out. But a few pockets of survivors were left on the T.L.A.'s capital world of Refuge, and as the Brikverse falls apart around them, they have begun to rebuild their army for the new conflicts that lie ahead...

Former mercenary combat engineer, Slaughterday morning cartoon star, and President of the T.L.A., Bob the Unbuilder (left) has a near 100% approval rating among his citizens, and is re-elected every Rekonstruktion on his famous slogan, "FUCK YES WE CAN!" With the T.L.A.'s various legislatures operating in a state of permanent gridlock, he often takes matters into his own hands in politics and on the battlefield. In both arenas, his tool of choice is the Chain of Command, a combination hammer and flail forged from Hammerman's legendary cudgel and given to him by the Kaiser of Bavaria.
His Cabinet often accompanies him into battle. Left to right: the Director of Homeland Security, the Secretary of Offense, the Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of Education.

Image
During his first 100 days in office, President Bob cannibalized the Presidential limo to create a Hover Killdozer, which he and his cabinet ride into battles and, much more rarely, diplomatic meetings.

Image
Cloned from an incomplete sample of Deadly SpaceMan DNA, Chrome is one of the T.L.A.'s most dangerous soldiers and was instrumental in repelling the Britannian invasion of Refuge. He wears a combination jetpack and life support system, and is armed with an experimental plasma gun.

Image
Captain Fury is the T.L.A.'s ace pilot, and has flown 294 combat missions, scored 439 kills, and performed 183 landings. He carries a heavy gauss repeater in the cockpit of his aircraft in case he is shot down. Where it actually fits is anybody's guess.

Image
After the Third Impact, the surface of Refuge is filled with marauding Angels and other, even more dangerous phenomena. Porters are used to carry supplies through areas too dangerous for vehicles to navigate, and the best of these is Sam Porter Bridges - the Man Who Delivers. After traveling throughout Refuge on several assignments for the President himself, Sam has headed off-world to gather intelligence on the current state of the Galaxy - and rumors of an upcoming apocalypse that might dwarf even the Third Impact.

Image
Image
Sam is armed with a prototype Positron Rifle, developed from autopsies of Ramiel-class Angels. Its firepower and ability to shoot through AT fields make it an excellent self-defense weapon on the LCL-soaked wastelands of Refuge.

Troops
Image
With the T.L.A.'s population once again reduced to a fraction of its former size, most professional soldiers have joined the ranks of the elite Jump Trooper Commando Teams. Armed with heavy Rail Carbines with underslung grenade launchers, these troops specialize in fast hit-and-fade strikes and are often deployed to assassinate enemy elite squads and commanders.

As their name implies, Jump Trooper Fire Teams are teams of Jump Troopers specially trained and equipped to set everything on fire. Their flamethrowers can mow down infantry in large numbers, and their squad leader carries a Napalm Launcher that can set fire to large areas of the battlefield to block an enemy advance. Their heavier weaponry and fireproof suits make them somewhat less mobile than Commando Teams.

Image
Although it was marketed towards kids, Bob the Unbuilder's Slaughterday morning cartoon show acquired a surprisingly large fandom of adults. Calling themselves Bobbies, the most enthusiastic of these fans often cosplay as construction workers and take to the battlefield in the hopes of imitating their heroes' feats or even meeting them in person. While they're often the butt of jokes among rival armies, those who actually fight against them soon learn that few forces in the world are more dangerous than adult fans of children's cartoons.

Vehicles

Image
The Speedy Hovering Infantry Transport (S.H.I.T.) is the T.L.A.'s standard infantry fighting vehicle, with a six-troop carrying capacity and a pair of miniguns for fire support.

Troops embarked. This is really designed more for regular infantry - which I haven't built yet since I don't have the right torsos - so they should fit better than the elites do.
Image
The Speedy Modular Armed Reconnaissance Tank (S.M.A.R.T.) is the T.L.A.'s standard light combat vehicle. Its standard configuration mounts a pair of mortar launchers that are effective against infantry and light to medium vehicles, but the T.L.A.'s weapons designers are hard at work on new weapons modules to increase its versatility.

This was the last thing I put together before publishing the Codex, and while I like what I have so far, it could definitely use some overall detail work in addition to the alternate loadouts.
Image
Although it's starting to show its age, the T.L.A.'s heavy hovertank chassis is still a lethally effective platform when properly outfitted. The Battlefield Railgun Enemy Armor Destroyer (B.R.E.A.D.) is one of its most lethal forms yet, mounting a massive rail cannon to turn it into a tank destroyer. A battery of secondary autocannon allows it to finish off its targets at close range.

Bobbies often ride into battle on civilian hover trucks fitted with construction equipment as makeshift weapons. This one sports a battle grinder attached to an articulated arm.

Particularly well-equipped fans will ride into battle on Road Rollers. Since their slow movement speed often can't match their passengers' lust for battle, Bobbies compensate by dropping these massive vehicles from orbit, aiming to land directly atop enemy troops. Sirens attached to the Road Rollers' chassis emit a terrifying scream as they descend into the enemy ranks, crushing the unfortunate soldiers caught underneath.

Aircraft
Image
The Single Weapon Infantry Gunship (S.W.I.G.) was created as an inexpensive 'flying APC' to transport and support troops on the battlefield. It's a simple, low-cost atmospheric VTOL transport, armed with a rotary gauss cannon as its primary weapon and equipped with smoke launchers to provide cover to disembarking troops.

This is the only one of my aircraft not to have landing gear. The wide open troop platform leaves no space for it, and it's a VTOL anyway so it's not that big a deal.

The Short-range Air Superiority Ship is the T.L.A.'s primary air-to-air fighter, and serves as a showcase of the technologies it has developed since Third Impact. The cockpit is filled with LCL to protect the pilot from G-forces, and two Positron Cannons serve as its primary armament. Since it was last shown, I've changed the shape of the fuselage a bit although that may not be very visible in the shots I've posted here.
Image
I also gave the S.A.S.S. a set of Universal Vehicle Upgrade and Launcher Attachment (U.V.U.L.A.) hardpoints, allowing it to carry missiles. S.A.S.S.s usually carry all-aspect air-to-air missiles.

The Tactical Hypersonic Interdiction and Combat Craft (T.H.I.C.C.) replaces the F.L.A.S.H. in the atmospheric fighter-bomber role. Armed with a rotary gauss cannon and equipped with four U.V.U.L.A. hardpoints, it can deploy a wide variety of ordnance against enemy aircraft and ground troops. It's shown armed with two incendiary missiles and two 3-shot MK.II rocket pods.

Variable sweep wings allow the T.H.I.C.C. to maintain its performance at a wide range of airspeeds, from near stall speed to Mach 6.

One of my better engine designs, I think.
Image
I'm not sure whether I like it better with ordnance or without. It doesn't make much sense to run this in a game without ordnance since the S.W.I.G. has the same gun on a cheaper frame.

Gear deployed.

Image
The Spaceborne Threat Interception and Neutralization Gunship (S.T.I.N.G.) replaces the F.L.A.S.H. as the T.L.A.'s primary deep-space fighter. Unlike the F.L.A.S.H., which was designed to be equally capable in deep space or within a planetary atmosphere, the S.T.I.N.G. was optimized for space combat. Massive gimbaled secondary thrusters provide excellent acceleration and maneuverability, while twin-linked positron cannons allow it to bring down even the most heavily shielded strike craft.
The S.T.I.N.G. is still capable of flying in atmosphere, mostly due to the brute thrust of its massive engine array. Its high-energy positron cannons make it useful as a flying tank destroyer, shooting through armor and shields to eliminate the enemy's heaviest units.
Image
When Captain Fury test flew the S.T.I.N.G., his only feedback to the design team was "More Boosters!" After several colorful threats to the engineers and their families, more boosters were arranged.
The Spaceborne Threat Interception and Neutralization Gunship - Expanded Rocketry (S.T.I.N.G.-E.R.) is a custom modification of the S.T.I.N.G. for Captain Fury's personal use, replacing the ship's original wings with twin pods containing vectored booster rockets. The front end of each pod also contains a pair of retro thrusters, added more out of a sense of optimism than any sound engineering calculation.
It has its own thread for images.

Image
The Planetary Excursion Quick Unobtrusive Orbital Dropship (P.E.Q.U.O.D.) is the T.L.A.'s newest special operations transport, featuring advanced engines and stealth technology and armed with two positron cannons, two miniguns, and two Mk.II missiles.
This design hasn't been changed since I first posted it over in Bricks, so you can find the images there.

Fleet
Image
During Third Impact, most of the crewmembers onboard T.L.A. were turned into LCL; the only survivors were a few ships on missions that took them outside T.L.A. space. Those ships form the core of the T.L.A.'s remaining fleet, along with a few vessels towed to shipyards, restored, and fitted with new weaponry.

Eta-class frigates are new light warships designed to accommodate either torpedo tubes (left) or warship-scale positron cannons (right).

Built from the corpse of a dead Angel, the Warship for Ungulant Neutralization, Destruction, Eradication and Repression (W.U.N.D.E.R.) was originally conceived to defeat the Pwnies with the power of Existentialism and A.T. fields. After Third Impact, the T.L.A. worked to complete the W.U.N.D.E.R. in order to defend themselves from the rest of the Galaxy. With Ragnablok looming, the ship was finally completed to serve as Bob the Unbuilder's ride to the final battle of New York.

Image
The W.U.N.D.E.R. is built around the corpse of a massive Angel, including its Core and S2 engine, allowing it to defend itself with A.T. Fields while powering a massive battery of drives and positron beam cannons.

Image
While I'm thrilled with how it looks, the ship is really structurally weak. With only about 4 studs connecting the outriggers to the central hull, it threatens to fall apart whenever it's detached from a stand. Worse yet, the attachment points for the stand are too far back, so the ship constantly leans forward.

Image
Weapons include 8 heavy positron cannons all fixed forward, and 8 light positron cannons in 4 turrets.

Image
Engines. Not much to say here.

Closeup of detail on the outriggers, including one of the turrets.

Image
Closeup of the Angel's core and the details around it. I'm really proud of this detail and it's one of the main reasons why the structure is as brittle as it is, because it occupies the place where extra bracing could otherwise go. Of course, it's going to be invisible in most of the action shots the W.U.N.D.E.R. appears in...

Another perspective on the underside details, including the bridge and the Angel's ribcage.
