Vol Einherjar
cost: 20CP
skill: 1 d10
move: 7"
armor: 6
Equipment:
Dragonhelm: cost 3Cp, +2 armor, Ranged attack: UR: 3 range: 6" Damage 1d6+1
Cybernetic brain: cost 2CP, skill=1d10
Dual katanas: cost 6CP, use 3ea, range CC, damage 1d6+2ea
Specialty:
Networked. cost 2CP,
+1 to all skill rolls for each Einherjar within 6"
Brain hack. cost 3CP,
The Einherjar's cybernetic brain is so advanced that they can
actually use "Delta waves" to overload and re-write the brain patterns
of minifigs but only on a minifig within 6" of him.

A top-secret squad of Vol assassins and spies, even the burliest of Vol heavy troopers speak of them only in whispers.
They are said to be the bodies of Vol warrior-kings, re-animated with cybernetic implants. Being mostly computer in mind,
they utterly lack any emotion, and can not feel pain. Being robotic, they are networked to each other,
each getting a bonus to it's skill rolls for every Einherjar in the immediate area.

Great units, I always used to make a lot of them when I was playing AoM. I guess Warhead's forum battle is Ragnarok-like enough for them to be a part of it.

I really like your army and when you use things from norse mythology. Their skills sounds good and I might steal one of them(Networked). I had to see it when I saw the title, Einherjar is Norse/Icelandic word.

Cool minifigs! However, I'm not all into the super-figs with very high skill and armor etc. Oh well, I might change and they're not for everyone. How could I not like dual katanas though...

Yeah, Networked is actually a pretty good idea for a skill.

I have guys in one of my armies who are... well, pretty much exactly like these when it comes to fluff, but I just use a Darth Vader fig for them. Maybe I should change it up...

These guys are totally awesome, plus I get to describe them as "Psychic, Space viking, zombie, cyborg ninjas" you should see the looks on people's faces when I tell them that. Really though, I have to give Warhead a good-sized chunk of the credit, he came up with the costume, the rest is just a product of my overactive imagination. 8)

@Tunasailor: Yeah, I'm really into the Norse mythology, as my family traces it's roots to Norway. And I remember Einherjar as an old Norse word. (Icelandic is the closest spoken language that you can get to old Norse these days).

Reminds me of a skill i used for toa minifigs before in a wargame i invented (before I even heard of brikwars!)

Also,

Explain what this does, also if this means yoinking a opponents minifis, you may want to limit what they can use it on like Bonn-o-Tron.

Hope I'm not speaking out of turn but I had a little to do with the Stats for these too. In as far as Zombie (Zulu) Dawn anyway, other than that see Tuefish.

As I understand it, it is a once per battle only ability that I assume lasts for only one turn, well that's how I have it in Zombie (Zulu) Dawn. Normal Mini-Figs may be made to suicide but Hero's/Characters will not but they will attack others. Tuefish did originally have limitations on this rule which I suggested would be too limiting to be worth while. I limited it by range alone and what I've already mentioned above. I guess we'll see just how powerful it is in the game.

The Networked rule I simplified to mean so long as they are in close proximity formation as a unit they each receive +1 to all skill rolls. Those out with the formation do not. Again, that's how I'm using them, just for simplicity.

Correct, this ability is indeed for yoinking opponent's minifigs. I originally had it limited by the CP of the enemy being yoinked, so that they could only mind-control basic soldiers, mac users and unassuming sheeple, through the media. Providing of course, that each Einherjar can only control one unit at a time, and they can pool their ability to control more powerful units.

Oh, I've got it so they can only control only one unit as a group. I suppose that limits things too.

I think there is also something like this in WH40K, Vespids or something...

Intravenous Horseman, would that be the GNU or whatever, your droid government? Just asking, don't give me lacerations... Well you can, but the lacerations are optional.
