The arm joints on that mech don't look strong enough to support the flail.

Well see when I give it a try. Ok, so LDD wont show up problems of weight, balance and fragility but I'm sure I can turn my hand to solving whatever comes up.

Heh - I like the idea of the Chaser, even if it would be flimsy - you could still keep the same design asthetic - but i'd change the ball joints for the action figure click joints, which would keep roughly the same appearance while also giving it the stability it needs.

And now, In my time spent in the university laundry department . . . Scythe presents . . .

I now present to you - The Shredder.

Image

Armed with 6 Heavy Lasers - each requiring a full turn to power up, the Shredder can annihalate almost anything in its path!

Image

A favored Shredder tactic is to charge three of its beams, while firing the other three - keeping a constant charge of fire upon the enemy while continuing forward on its 8 spear pointed legs. (which do have knees - but attempting to bend them in LDD is a bitch)

Image

Powered not by one - but FOUR of the mysterious crystals - the Shredder appears to be a disturbing algamation of three Hunters - Only one Shredder has been seen by Scythian forces - Deployed with three Hunters as a heavy artillery unit that managed to take down a Pair of Scythian Goliath mechas before the rest of the Goliath point teams destroyed the Shredder and its escorts completely.

Image

And another horror to the Scythian ground forces - The Roaster.

Image

Its almost scorpion-like form seems to have been designed as some form of undead anti-air/infantry platform - being armed with twin plasma flamethrowers capable of roasting skin, muscles and bones alike with relative ease - and a single tail mounted heavy laser designed to take down enemy aircraft - it seems to be an attempt by the legions of the Macabre to expand into some form of coherent combined-arms strategy.

Image

A small assault group approaches . . .

As always, comments and critiques are appreciated! =D

J+B keeps getting broken, all my favourite soft toys do.   :(  But of course he'll deny it. It'll be the table edge he fell off of or his new school taking up his time (In Flkr it says he's home schooled *shrug* STALKER!) or the people at the institute don't let him near a computer because he eats the vowels on the keyboard.

Scythe this is another great monstrosity... in a good way.  :D

thats the reason he's homeschooled, he's burnt down every school he's gone to.

I read this and then applied logic to this - Surely J+B would not burn down schools to get away from them - Schools would burn down THEMSELVES so they would never have to be burdened with J+B . . .

Just my little theory anyway . . .

Hmmm...
Maybe "fire starter" burns down the schools so that people don't have to suffer him.

Nah, I think there's an "Early Warning J+B System" that someone has. Whenever he enrolls in another school, they send in the F-16s with the napalm cannons.  :D

I think all that grammar packed into one place when exposed to the J+B element must just spontaneously combust. That's why I try not to use too much grammar, it's too volatile and unstable, unlike me. :D
