yeah. this is my favorite of the community army suggestions by far (although benny's army suggestion is a good second - a worthy opponent).

well, gwar would work better than slipknot because they wear armour and often have giant swords

also it might be interesting to include the various vendors from the concert area
t-shirt cannons
custom lighters
firecrackers to use as a distraction

this all sounds great just as long as someone in the army has a trumpet.

No, I mean a trumpet. Heavy Metal can have trumpets. In fact heavy metal becomes AWESOME METAL when it has trumpets.

That's where Trans-Siberian Orchestra comes from in fact... them and Bond.

as someone who's seen every episode of metalocalypse, i know how easy it is to just copy them. although the guard thing probably isn't the best idea for fjordhammer: the dethcecutioners are probably the most metal security guards you'll ever get. but they're not stereotypically metal. stereotypical metal has big beefy guys in white t-shirts and sunglasses for security guards. and besides, you can't have the guards out-metal the main preformance!

speaking of which, this setup allows for very easy hero creation: you can have all the actual bandmembers be heroes. that's at least four (singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer) heroes off the bat, and a fifth if you want a rhythm guitarist in the fray. for names, i'd suggest having houndis suggesting actual swedish and norwegian sounding names, as long as there's someone with the last name of "Umlaut". because it's metal.

One of the band members MUST play the trumpet. Otherwise the whole thing wouldn't work.

i just baught the new motorcycle chase so I was thinking for part of the army a motorcycle gang could make it interesting. especialy if they are pilots cuz then they can shoot and drive at the same time

also if there are 4 or five hero's then they wont be very powerfull (heroic ego) maybe if one of them is a champion it would work better

edit: also my new avatar owns

OK, so you want 4-5 Swedish/Norwegian names? I'll get them for you. I'll just put a list of names, you can make your own from them.

Gustaf Tordenskjold
Björn Umlaut (here you have it, IV)
Frederik Ekberg
Ingvar Hansen
Karl Halvørsen
Bruno Hjertén
Niklas Sunde
Hans Lundequist

And if you want a female member in the band (I don't think that's too metal, but honestly I have no idea):

Ingrid Johansson
Dina Opsahl
Hilde Bergman
Jeanette Eriksson

There you go. That's not much, I can find some more names if you like. You can edit those names as much as you want as long as they sound Swedish or Norwegian.

I thought they were supposed to be Finnish?
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

Well, Horsey asked for Swedish/Norwegian names, so that's what I bring here. I can give you some Finnish names too, if you want. Actually, if that band is Scandinavian metal band, I believe there should be one Finnish member.
