Tigershark SHDT
Post featured on August 30, 2011.
This is the Tigershark Super Hover Death Tank
It is a heavily armed and armoured Multi terrain heavy assault platform.
Its primary weaponry consists of a heavy rail gun/energy lance hybrid that is capable of smashing through the thickest of armour and the mightiest of shields.
Secondary weaponry consists of two flechette cannons mounted on the sides of the tank.
The tigershark is designed primarily for heavy assault and covert insertions but early prototypes were vulnerable to infantry charges,
but the engineers fixed that little problem with....
BOOM MOUNTED CHAINSAWS!
Yes its as awesome as it sounds the originally juryrigged solution soon became standard on the production type and the crews have never been happier.
As you can see she`s quite tall but that enables more cargo inside.
Here is the main gun turret with the Rail-lance cannon and a Heavy machine gun mounted on the turret.
Yes thats my leg, you can see the little soldier I used to display its height right by the side of the tank.
Here`s a closeup of the machine gun.
It can traverse quite a bit.
Im very happy with how the vents on the back of the turrets turned out.
Heres the Shield generator quite small but reliable.
You can see the flechette cannons on the sides of the tank.
heres the secondary turret its armed with a laser cannon and a missile pack.
Like a baws..
Heres the rear of the secondary turret which is mostly used to fend of aircraft or light spacefighters since the Tigershark is more than capable of operating like an ultra light frigate or escort for larger ships.
closeup of the flechette cannon its primary purpose is to discourage any flanking infantry and covering disembarking troops.
Heres the main cargo area it can hold up to three Goshawk mark IIIs.
The Goshawks exit via magnetic rails built into the floor of the cargo hold.
These particular Gosawks are heavily armed one with a heavy grenade cannon and the other with a HAP-LV descendant machine gun.
walk tall and carry a large stubby exploding bullet spewing stick.
A pair of stretchers can be carried and laid out across the hold for piecing together wounded.
And heres the entrance to the troop hold.
Large amounts of infantry can be carried in here altough proper seating has yes to be installed.
Now to the bridge were the tank is piloted.
there is also here the reactors are located them being the tan topped canisters, four is required to power the Tigerskarks`s impressive arsenal plus its shields and antigravity drives.
The guy at the far back is the commander. he plots course and instructs the others were to fly and what to shoot altough combat is handled by the driver and the gunner.
The driver or pilot flies the tank while the gunner handles the weaponry altough the onboard AI is the one in charge of all the weaponry except the main gun and the turret mounted machin gun.
By now a storm was starting but I held out.
Heres all the hatches and lids open on the Tigershark (you can hold it upside down and nothing will fall of,infact you can hold it pretty much anywere since its incredibly sturdy.
Heres all the crew displaying themself for the camera.
Im quite happy with how the rear turned out especially the rear turret.
Defending a parked a tank agains scavs is no easy job but having built in weaponry certainly makes it easier!
Comparison between Goshawk mark III and the rebel Wasp junk mech.
It fits a fig!
rear view.
side view.
Close up on the Goshawks because they are awesome.
Heres the pursuit tank because rebels in fast moving vehicles can be a nuisance but not anymore!
Front of the Tigershark notice the two blastram which emit a sonic puls when colliding with a wall which causes the wall to crumble easier.
Wallpapers wooo!
The see me hovering they hatin..
My current desktop background.
One last pic!
Thats all folks Comment and vote in the poll!

IMO you could reinforce the ram and add another gun, somewhere... btw how many studs long is the "rail area" of the railgun?
Great presentation of an awesome tank. I like how you show off all the features, one request since you do good editings: how about a "fact sheet", with front and side pics and text with info like stud length, weapons, transport capacity and fluff like independant operating time etc. It'd be cool to have. Infact, I ought to do that myself later on...
The tank is really big and deserves to be a STD. I dig your theme of having transport areas for Goosehawks in your ships and tanks and they all look good.
