I have a little bag full of muzzle flashes and other good stuff, so if it's action you want, it's action you'll get. I'm pissing distance from your Benevolent Overlord, so maybe I need to trick him into a battle via the magic of beer. Or I can stage a little carnage via the magic of forum battles...

Before I run the risk of talking too much and not providing enough awesome:

I've actually got another squad, but they're waiting on helmets. That Aquazone armor is pretty cheap on Bricklink. Clearer pictures of the smart gun are forthcoming.

And just because I can't leave it there:

You know I think you're right. I never trusted those sneaky unblinking little cocksuckers, and now I know why. I'll book a mind-control specialist over lunch and we'll see what can be done.

I think he's one of Joshua's buddies, since he linked to his Flickr and it has a some of those mecha from Mobile Frame Zero.

Also, might I just say:

Right in one! I'm the guy who designed them. This army came about partly as a result of wanting to apply the techniques I used to make neat little microscale game-pieces to larger stuff - some of which may sneak back into the game in tiny form.

I stopped playing at the first Mirrodin sets.

I used to think MTG died when Mirrodin started too, followed by the Kamigawa crap, but your wrong bro, Wizards had to evolve the game, otherwise it would actually die and besides, the newest editions aren't so bad.

Kamigawa was when they started adding a whole bunch of weird rules and stuff, and it just didn't have the same feel to me. I still liked the ideas, but worrying about having to come across a ton of abilities and stuff that you didn't even know existed wasn't as fun.

Ok, so Soren is the main character of The Guardians of Ga'Hoole. Figured that was it, just couldn't place the name. And I figured you were connected to MFZ.

This is some really great stuff! Love the clean look and feel of everything; from the color schemes to the photography and post production of images. Articulating suspension? Pure fucking win!

Any closer shots of the marines? Interested in how exactly they are built.

Also we'll be needing some shots of these things blasting the crap out of some alien bug scum and dominating the battle field. :warhead:

Jesus christ these are amazing and it sounds like you've already got a good grip on the rules of the game and that Briksaber's an idiot. Speak friend, and enter!

It's weird that we've lived so close for so long and yet have never managed to do anything beer-related. Now that I'm finally back in town for awhile we should do something about that.

Running this board must be like having a permanent hangover anyway.

They're ridiculously simple. 1x1 brick with studs on two sides and a pneumatic T, held on by... I'm not sure what it's called. But a thing.
Suspension is similarly easy - just some artfully camouflaged technic liftarms.

As far as dominating goes, I like their designs far too much to ever play them myself - I might hesitate at the moment of truth, and play like a jackhole who wants to preserve his forces and win, as opposed to playing properly, like a blood-crazed drunken maniac who'll try anything to raise the body count.
