Bloksy Stuff
I have a Deadly Spaceman!
Also a BlockBot Horde. 16 Elite BlockBots, 8 each of Yellow, Blue, and Red BlockBots, and Bob the Blockamancer.
8 Elite BlockBots can be formed into a Block Golem.
Bob the Blockamancer. Different spells that he can cast are:
Summon 6 Lesser Blockbots - 1 turn
Summon 2 Elite BlockBots - 1 turn
Rebuild 6 Lesser BlockBots (Lesser BlockBots must be made of one color) - 1 turn
Rebuild 4 Elite BlockBots - 1 turn
Build Block Golem (must have 8 built Elite BlockBots) - 2 turns
For Rebuilding, all the pieces must be within a 2 inch radius. Same goes for Golem construction.
Anyone have suggestions for attack and armor stats for the BlockBots?
Ideas for stats for the different BlockBots?

Re: Bloksy Stuff
Sounds just a little overpowered. It looks like they're more powerful than minifigs! I think nerfed stats might work.
Lesser BlockBot:
Attack: 1d6-1
Def: 1d6-1
Move: 4"
Skill: 1d6-1
Elite BlockBot:
Attack: 1d6
Def: 1d6
Move: 5"
Skill: 1d6
Block Golem:
Attack: 3d6
Def: 2d6 (If defeated then parts for 1 Elite BlockBot are removed)
Move: 4"
Skill: 1d6
Lesser BlockBot:
Attack: 1d6-1
Def: 1d6-1
Move: 4"
Skill: 1d6-1
Elite BlockBot:
Attack: 1d6
Def: 1d6
Move: 5"
Skill: 1d6
Block Golem:
Attack: 3d6
Def: 2d6 (If defeated then parts for 1 Elite BlockBot are removed)
Move: 4"
Skill: 1d6

ranged [2x1's and 4x1's] are 1d6 attack 1d4 def for me

Re: Bloksy Stuff
Ah. I always though of BlockBots as horde creatures; not very powerful on their own, but overwhelming in groups.

Re: Bloksy Stuff
I guess you could have both ways... have the normal ones be horde creatures and the elites be slow but powerful.
What features distinguish the elites from the normal blokbots?

I think the elites have tri-colors.Theblackdog wrote:I guess you could have both ways... have the normal ones be horde creatures and the elites be slow but powerful.

Re: Bloksy Stuff
Yep, looks like it. also, in my games the blockbots can form into minor goloms, as in 3 normal bots can combine into a BigBot with 3d8 attack and 3d6 def, but they have to roll above 2xX X being the number of bots combining rolling with half[rounded down] their combined skill.

Re: Bloksy Stuff
Blokbots and other horrid creatures are always nice, I don't have any qualms about smashing those bastards into oblivion, it's when I can't remember what helmet went on what fig is when I get worried.
I still like this kind of stuff because it's still somewhat enjoyable to fight against primitive creations en masse, I have an army of "Negablokbots" that is one of the main combatants of the negaverse, my armies are situated in an area near negaverse space, *I like to think of it as similar to that eye of terror thing from warhammer*,
Anyway pretty good, I mean, they're blokbots but I still like them for the sole fact that they remind me of my childhood, I'm nostalgic, and Nostalgia is the whole reason I'm even on these forums, or even bothing with Lego.

I have similar creations as well, though they are four 1x2 bricks in a "+" shape that used wings/guns made of four 2x2 blocks.Kastrenzo wrote:Blokbots and other horrid creatures are always nice, I don't have any qualms about smashing those bastards into oblivion, it's when I can't remember what helmet went on what fig is when I get worried.

They all flew, shot lasers from their studs, and would fire each other as missiles.

Re: Bloksy Stuff
When I was a kid I made blokbot-esque "figures" based on all the characters from Super Smash Bros. and they had adventures together and fought other blokbots. It was really fun. Thanks for the nostalgia trip!

Re: Bloksy Stuff
Nice job. I can see why you didn't make the bots more advanced, because finding all the parts for that would be hard, great job! ]
