Yeah, and apart from that he failed all his feats and sadly died...

Drakensy has a better mace now. The ominous green actually fits the night theme imo.

Image

I swapped Rolys' torso because I could think of no reason for him to be a Wolfpack dude. It also looks better, I think.

Elmagnifico wrote:Aloysius Black, ROYAL ENGINEER

Westeron has always favored magic over science, with gunpowder and clockwork being looked down upon as "dirty" and "uncouth", unworthy of serious pursuit. Gunpowder weapons were instead adopted by Starcapes, Hitokiri and Scallywags, further tarnishing science's reputation with the Powers that Be. Hence, mage-blind Aloysius, his mad inventions, and delusions of officialdom went unheeded by all, despite his development of a multi-round, semi-automatic arquebus. The incursions of the Falx, and their use of science and magic in tandem piqued Aloysius' interest, and seeing this as a chance to finally win actual backing, he volunteered for the spot. Only time will tell what his jaunt on the Crimson Crusade will produce. Pics when I have them.

Aloysius Black the engineer, widely praised for accidentally exploding a self-made grenade in the face of his sister Rebecca on a good friday. He's one of the rare people left aware of the secret of gunpowder now that the Starcapes are (un)dead. He'll have to convince Queen Lara of his ability as an engineer, giving me a perfect opportunity to rip off one of Elmagnifico's designs. I really want to make him some kind of rolling steam-fortish thingy to fight from.

Mo: 6" Sk: 1d6+1 Ar: 6 Engineer: can craft many useful things on the spot, or already has them with him if lucky. Needless to say, he's very proficient at wielding them as well...

Hammerman is a space knight anyway, right?
I based that character off of this guy: http://brikwars.wikispaces.com/Hammerman

If I ever have any more forum battles, he will never fail to show up. :D

Yeah, that's kinda weird 'cos I just took edited copies of them, never deleted the originals. I've also noticed if you crop and resize an image without copying it it does nothing. Anyway they're up again =)

Name: Lord James the Black

While the rest of the kingdom was off fighting their silly war against the FALX, Lord James was off conquering the eastern hinterlands. Vast forests and less-than=friendly natives led to the lasting image of untamable territory. Lord James begged to differ. The brutal subjugation of the Eastern Hinterlands at the hands of his army took many, painful years, but in the end the kingdom's domain stretched from the Western mountains to the eastern sea.

While stories of the atrocities committed by his soldiers(The burned villages, the crucifixations, and snuggle are but a few) chill the bones of even the most coldhearted men, James the Black was made lord of the eastern hinterlands by the king himself.

Having nothing better to do, Lord James went with the queen to conquer new territory.

Weapons: 6-foot long broadsword. While not using a shield may seem odd, there are some things you don't have to worry about when you're a six-and-a-half foot tall dynamo of death

Skills: Other than being an powerful, raw swordsman, Lord James the Black is an expert tactician.
This was probably the most badass submission, it even convinced me to transform some of my Falx / Vol infantry into original Black Knights.

Image

I made this fig as closely as possible: the body is exact, the head and hair get close, but are a placeholder until I get the real deal. I put together the helmet but don't want him to wear it before he has either armour or epaulettes (it would look too big without them).

Image

He's able to easily overpower lesser men.

Mo: 5" Sk: 2d6 Ar: 8 Hero (Tactician, Powerful and Resilient), Two-handed swing

Two-handed swing: adds 1 damage for every extra point of UR you want to add to his sword.

THough Not really a squire, Joul Has a set of Rusty steal plate armor, a mace, and a fancy hat he looted from a small skirmish near his home. Hearing of this crusade, he could not help but salivate at the promise of the riches, He is ready and willing for the loot, and less so for a fight.
[a standard swordsmen's stats with +1 armor and 1d8 skill or some such would work for Joul]
Extra power : Loot is power. Joul is adept and scavenging stuff from the battle field. he can find just about anything you need him too, just give him a big enough corpse pile to rummage through and wait
Image

Squire Joul. I waited with posting him because I'll probably change the fig again soon when my Bricklinck order arrives.

Mo: 6" Sk: 1d6+1 Ar: 6 Ab. : Scavenger

Scavenger: able to find useful items in most cases where you would least expect them.

His biggest task at hand will be convincing Queen Lara he's as good at finding things as he says, and become the squire he claims to be.
Alex wrote:One of my Sig Figs is Lord Godfrey:

He leads the northern garrison, an army of grizzled veteran warriors who have had to pretty much constantly had to fight off viking raids and other barbarian invasions. They have taken on aspects of their enemies over the years, and as such are somewhat more 'barbaric' than the average medieval soldier. Lord Godfrey is no exception. He can go into a berserk rage like the fabled warriors of the North that they fight, able to take more damage as well as deal out more. He is skilled with most melee weapons, particularly sword and lance, but disregards ranged weapons as 'coward's tools'. He is also a good rider. he is a skilled general who leads from the front lines. His preferred method of attack, frontal assaults, can sometimes cause heavy casualties on his side.Lord Godfrey is very courageous however, and will fight against seemingly impossible odds to emerge victorious.
Image
Image

Now here's one lucky guy! I actually had all of the parts to make him, except for the shield, but he'll be getting a royal knight's shield soon.

Mo: 5" Sk: 1d6+2 Ar: 7 Berserk

Berserk: Lord Godfrey may go into a Berserk rage for 2 rounds. During these rounds he'll have +1 to attack and armour, and be able to attack another foe for every one he slays.

His task is now to convince Queen Lara someone else will keep the North safe while he's on a crusade.

The fantasy era and kingdom figs turn out to be rather expensive. I might still buy them, but Sir Dillan and Sir Fabio could also just get 'restyled' into Westeron knights once I get the heads / hair for them. It all depends on what I find first and how I'll put the figs that are on the way to use.

I agree they're amongst the best. Your opinion might be about to change though...

Image

I've decided to make my own character. Say hi to Princess Storm!

Image

Of the King's many daughters, she's easily the most deadly.

Image

Been awhile since I made one of those bardings, I'm happy with how it turned out.

Image

Same goes for the shield.

Image

Rev. first told me about this design I think.

Image

She can also fight on foot.

Image

More badass posing.

Image

I like how the sword turned out, too.

Image

Image

'Hear ye, hear ye!'

Image

"We shall kill all of the Falx!" *applause*

Image

"We shall burn their cities to the ground!" *more applause* "Wait a minute..."

Image

"Why am I speeching to generic Falx extras?"

Damn it, Brag, stop posting sexy minifigs! The shield's a little bulky, but not enough to detract too much, color scheme is spot on, and one of them chrome bull helmets. Well done, very well done. Though I thought the short would end with her jumping into and slaughtering the extras!

I have some from one of the castle lines. I think it was when the lions were fighting the bulls.

Also, I think that Princess Storm looks very Roman Centurion-like. Very cool.

Note - the chain is personal flair, functioning almost as a "seat belt" for the rider. It's purely show and can be removed if you think it clashes.
Thanks guys. I got most of the lion heads from buying King Leo's Castle twice as a kid as well as many other KK I sets that might have had them (I have a lot) and yeah Hogwarts may have had some too.
