Bragallot's Fantasy battles.

Post by Bragallot » Sat Jul 22, 2017 7:57 am

All my pictures are broken but I think I can get them back online if I can host them elsewhere. So I could start reposting them here as battle reports if I get the go ahead to do so. Could be nice to have them together rather than having all turns in a separate thread. If I'm not allowed to do this since they were technically forum battles, then never mind and just delete this topic.

Motion approved. I wonder if I should offer a service to just re-host all the old photobucket archives here on the forum server. Wouldn't take much effort to move the files, but you'd have to re-link everything.

I'd totally pay the reasonable fee of $400 for said service.

Sounds like a great idea. Would still save me a lot of work over having to download all the images (I didn't keep backups of most), upload them elsewhere and then relink them. :)

I've been trying to download the albums over the last couple of days, but it looks like Photobucket's download servers are too overloaded right now to do any actual downloading (or else Photobucket deliberately sabotaged them, those fucks). But I'll keep checking back in to see if I can find a less busy server window.

I'll wait to see how this develops.

I'm still trying every couple of days, but no luck so far. I don't know why it worked for Warhead's galleries but not anyone else's - maybe I just got in early enough that the download servers weren't overloaded yet.

Wouldn't surprise me if Photobucket is stopping people from doing that to 'force' them to pay.
