Recommended listening: One man army and the undead quartet - killing machine. then - Death makes it all go away
Backstory:
A border planet in the Phalek empire has of late been under siege from a combined force of "unauthorized lifeforms", the attacking force has located a less fortified position on the frontline and a sizable army has been sent to break through.
they were feeling slightly optimistic as they had their new allies, the demons, with them, the demons could be a truly powerful group on the battlefield.
The helvetik konfederation, having been given the task of holding the area have erected a small wall of wood and stuff.
Additional infantry and militia have been posted outisde to fill any holes in the defence.
A light tank and the wall guards also wait.
Some SMG wielding space troopers wait behind
The kommandant speaks to an imperial overseer.
A large and blurry force blunders forwards through the vehicle-hinderers.
Helvetiks get the initiative and the cannon blasts 3 hostiles.
The unauthorized lifeforms surge forth.
The only one in range misses horribly (This always happens to me, I never get good accuracy).
This one gets shot, that's all the riflemen manage...
The attackers reach the first wall.
They get a few melee kills.
The cannon fires again, getting 2 or 3 kills.
The reserves get in position.
This guy gets killed, his only remaining hand is really wobbly, so him having that massive weapon was really annoying.
More skull-e-tons climb over and get some kills.
The riflemen move back to get a better shot and the militia prepare for fights.
The first rank of attackers gets mowed down.
The tank fails as per expected.
The enemy take advantage of their foes inadequacy and charge forwards.
They make it to the helvetiks.
And get some kills.
Some dynamite place by the barricade blows up, taking a few with it.
That blue mutant gets skewered.
The machine gun opens up on two enemies, opening them up.
More militia get killed by guns and Skeleslap.
People have bad accuracy.
Demon warriors arrive an people just start lying down and dying.
The tank reloads and blasts 4 unauthorized lifeforms to hell and back, almost.
And orc gets shot.
The militiaman swings at the demon but misses.
and is promptly executed.
The headless skeleton tries to skeleslap the soldier but misses too
And is put to death.
The demons try to use their powers on the tank...
They have no effect.
These 2 wave their arms around stupidly.
these 2 pistol-wielders shoot a guy.
The machine gun fires at the demons at close range, but gets no kills.
(Protip: aim for the head)
The supermario impersonator gets and overdose of death.
Apart from deafening the demon, the wall guards don't accomplish much.
these 2 continue to faff around.
Several peaches miss their target.
as does this one.
More demons turn their gazes to the tank...
CRASH!!!!
This helvetik is extremely lucky.
As the monster finally dies, the militia leader turns towards the others "Who's next?"
A lucky shot from the wall guards vanquishes a demon.
At last, this guy receives a Glaswegian kiss and dies (Is it called that? I'm not sure).
The demon turned his head towards the other guy, killing him instantly.
As do those who just took out the tank, many wall guards simply tumble off, like puppets with their strings cut.
Another demon gets killed.
the remaining peaches begin a shootout with the 2 remaining wall guards, this will take a long time.
The other members of the horde head to the Leaders.
Straight into the path of the respone fire of several SMGs, and you know, my guys don't Always have such terrible accuracy.
The heads of the first 4 demons are pulped, stopping them in their tracks.
And one of the outside peaches dies.
The final demon and his 2 friends continue their suicidal charge to the enemy guns, he tries to stare down someone, but scores low.
Having spent their turn reloading, the space troops opened fire.
Their are more hits than the highest dice roll of the targets hp, I didn't bother rolling damage.
The results are as expected.

The link to costumes is a bit far fetched, the demons are actually gaseos, so the demon warriors themselves were the costumes, I was hoping they would win so that they could use the helvetik leader as a costume, sadly they failed, ah well, that's the way the dice roll.
