Well I just removed the feet to replace them with tank treads, and I have to say it looks a million times better. :D

Yes, this is the general rule for anything that currently has feet.

does it? i think that the skull shape lends itself very nicely to a humanoid model: it looks like some lumbering monstrosity that solely LIVES to eat minifigs, peaches and yellows alike.

definitely keeping an eye on this thread and the 3vil possibilities.
The skull castle with a pair of tracks and giant wrecking arms screams out 3vil military.
