After a few technical problems we got the battle under way.

I decided to go for the lazy method and use the Apoc set up for the battle field and we down sized he armys to allow for this battle field after all this was just a test so nothing fancy was needed.

The first turn is just movement with Piltogg's men splitting up into two different groups and mine moving forward in mass.

In the second turn Piltogg has two of his Ronin moon mine men in a effort to get them to go to the ally way.
Image
The third turn kombat in sues..

and one of mine men and two of his fall to the sword.
Image

In turn four Piltogg has his men scale the building while mine gloat over the dead bodies.
Image

In turn five two of my men try to throw the heads of the Ronin at Piltogg's men but..
Image
they fail with one helmet bouncing off the wall and impaling a man
Image

Turn six is pretty boring with Piltoggs men getting cover in the building and mine stealing weapons and armor.
Image
Image
Turn seven was started with the addition of two arab hero's for each side
being placed by the opposing players
Image
mine by the wall and his in the middle of my men
Image

Turn eight Piltogg's Ronin jump down and attack and his yellow hero uses her heroic move to pic up the yellow line in the road and knock my men over.
Image
He kills some and attack back
Image
Turn nine his two heros take out one of mine and my men attack his Ronin
Image
The my reaming hero trys to blow the building down on his and mine men but Piltoggs heros use the heroic move to jump in place of it and hold it up.
Image
Next turn Piltoggs Ronin run out form under the building and his heros drop it on my men.
Image
my last red shirt take out one of his remaining Ronin
Image
His heros take out my red shirt and my hero thorws his spear though the heads of two of his Ronin
Image
Next turn my hero picks up a dead mans sword and attacks the last Ronin but fails to kill
Image
His heros do a "force" jump at my hero tring to kill him but fall flat on there faces
Image
and the last turn the last Ronin kills my hero .

So I think that with a little bit of planing this way of Brik Wars battling works far better then the weeks long forum battles and is much more enjoyable. This battle form start to finish was about 35 mins which in my opion beats the heck out of two weeks.

Good fight with interesting hero action. Nice buildings also, and the figs are top notch.

I'm glad it all worked out but that report was terrible to read. I predict forum reports will also fall to the wayside soon after Cam-Battles start.

[philosophicalmetaphoricalcrap]I see it as a new media. Observe the handy-dandy chart I made:

Brikwars Media----------IRL equivalent
IRL battles Going out and having an adventure
Battle reports Reading an adventure book
Forum Battles Playing an adventure RPG
Skype Battles Playing am adventure video game

Each has its own niche to fill, and enthusiasts who prefer it over the other media. None is diminished in its awesomeness by the existence of the others. There will still be forum battles after skype battles have come along, just as there are still IRL battles, even though forum battles have been invented. Each addition to the list simply expands the rich tapestry of carnage that is the Brikwars universe.[/philosophicalmetaphoricalcrap]

This is one of the most awesome heroic feats in history.

I think it is easier to do a larger scale forum battle than a large scale webcam battle. For one on one, it looks like this will work great.

Web cam style battles would be very difficult to do on a large scale, as video quality is pretty low. so a number 4 alternative method would be for large forum battles to be run the way that they are as the primary basis, but for smaller video-based battles to take place within the larger ones, to resolve skirmishes within those battles with greater accuracy, efficiency and reduced fudgery.

I would argue that this passage from our Scripture may be inferred to mean one should fudge as much as possible for the furtherance of chaos and destruction. In short, you are a heretic and should be burned at stake, after we've crucified you of course.
