Blazing Brikinville

Postby Moronstudios » Thu Aug 25, 2011 1:52 pm

Once again we return to the classic Moronstudios field of battle, Brikinvillewhere almost all of the townspeople is hobos.
In this game the hobos would wonder around and sometimes interact with the nearest object (opening a crate, shoving someone). If they saw violence they would go into a fenzy themselves.
Shopkeepers would only go violent if someone touches their stuff (hobos have no money, armies never pay).

My army was a mining squad, sent to search the caves dug up near the weapon shop. My hero was the guy in blue, My specialist was the guy in red with a d12 skill was my specialist.
Image

My brother took the inexperienced adventurers, who had set camp on the other side of Brikinville. Their hero was the PC, who is dueling the dwarf in this picture. His specialist was the CC weapons master wearing the jackel helmet.
Image

My brother got the first turn and used it to expand.
Image

A strong shot from his long ranged guy set the weapon shop on fire.
Image

My guys advanced across the bridge.
Image

In response the hobo picked up the sheep.
Image

The other hobos stumbled around town.
Image

One ended up rambling to the weapon shop owner
Image

The barbarian adventurer charged a rock, no effect.
Image

Two other adventurers enter the magic shop.
Image

The PC tried to bull rush a sitting hobo, ended up throwing his sword into a window.
Image

Two of the ranged units go around the back.
Image

I took care of hobo threat using a rifle, sending the sheep hobo into a rage.
Image

The miners advance into town.
Image

And secure the bridge
Image

My hero advances to the mines.
Image

I shove back the sheep hobo as he attacks.
Image

Some hobo finds apples in a chest.
Image

Others stumble around town.
Image

The hobo in the shop walks up to a wall.
Image

The magic shop owner is killed, he throws his wand in an attempt to parry.
Image

The PC attemped to jump through the window, and knocked himslf out for a turn. The dwarf kills the hobo.
Image

My brother was not going to let the wand go to waste.
Image

The barbarian starts to grind down the rock.
Image

The fire spreads on the weapon shop. The most amazing thing about it was that the fire will all go from fire size 3" to no fire in one turn after 6 points of fire grinding.
Image

A couple of helpers join my hero.
Image

My guys continue around town even if one does get pushed down by a hobo.
Image
Image

I easily kill the hobo that attacked me.
Image

A hobo decide to steal from the weapon shop and grabs the shotgun.
Image

However, inertia is a cruel bitch.
Image

A dwarf heads near the Mc Stankys
Image

The specialist and dwarf exit the magic shop with stolen goods.
Image

Grinding of the rock continues.
Image

The ranged adventurers continue on like Bonn-o-Tron.
Image
Image

The miners continue up the hill
Image

and into the town.
Image

I barge into the empty weapon shop.
Image

Hobos go about thier stuff.
Image
Image

The barbarian climbs up the rock to confront the miners. a good shot from the mage kills my long ranged guy.
Image

A shoot out begins.
Image

The miner hero tried to knock the barbarian down the hill, but stumbled through the table of cannon ammo.
Image

My specialist (who i will be calling Protoman), climbed up the steps as the close combat help charged the crossbower
Image
Image

I kill a dwarf, sending the hobo in black into a blood frenzy.
Image

Raiding the weapon shop.
Image

Finishing his call the hobo hangs up the phone.
Image

His backup arives on the field. The black knight had heroic stats (without the feats) and a magic sword that would do 1" of knockback for every guy killed with it.
Image

The PC gets revenge on hills fallen ally.
Image

A What I Say Goes roll was used to decide whether or not a CC weapons master could use missiles. I argued that missiles are launched, so not. My brother said that you throw them, so he could. The dice spoke in his favour.
Image

The scroll was a skelleton summing scroll. The dwarf failed to use it correctly and summon the hostile skeletons around himself.
Image

Combat continues between the hero and the barbarian.
Image

Protomen headshots the mage while the miner swordsman is killed.
Image
Image

My hero backs from combat and shoots the barbarian.
Image

A continued raid of the weapon shop.
Image

A hobo attacks the PC, who decideds not to parry because it is only a hobo.
The error of his ways shows as the hobo slices his neck with exploding dice.
The hobo is given CC weapon master because of this amazing feat (killing a hero with a d4 skill dice)
Image

In a dieing heroic feat the PC kills one of the skeletons.
Image

This fails to save the dwarf.
Image

The black knight walks forward.
Image

A working heroic feat sends the barbarian down the cliff as my hero throws a pickaxe at him.
Image

Protomen takes out the guy with the crossbow.
Image

After being pushed into the random item shop by hobodwarf the miner kills the store owner and shoves the hobo when attacked.
Image

My attempts to kill the CC hobo are useless.
Image

The apple hobo gets the attention of the sheep.
Image

The CC hobo kills my guy with the shotgun.
Image

The black knight is a pushover and the skeletons kill him with ease (my brother points out that he was most likely an undead nerd).
Image

Taking his stuff the skeletons go and kill the CC hobo, spawning a new skeleton.
Image

I throw some oil on the ground near the skeletons
Image

The barbarian shoves the hobo into the wall and takes the phone as I shoot a shotgun blast at them, to no effect.
Image

I use the cannon and its limited arc of fire to set fire to the oil and kill the skeletons.
Image
Image

Things are not looking good for my shotgun guy.
Image

The barbarian goes weapon shopping.
Image

After killing the clothing shop owner the CC weapons master starts to open the safe.
Image

The miner climbs onto the weapon shop and tries to break into the window, breaking his pick.
Image

Another miner is killed.
Image

The hobo, having 96% luck, found a magic sword that would give one extra attack per turn for every person killed by it.
(this turned out to be overpowered, any suggestions for what the power should be?)
Image

The apple hobo gains the farmer heroic cliche
Image

The dwarfhobo crafts a flamethrower durring a fey mood and goes searching for fuel.
Image

Having 100% luck the dwarf finds there is plenty of fuel in the can.
Image

The farmer looses his apples if a failed feat. Sword hobo kills a sheep.
Image

Barbarian collects a shield.
Image

The CC master jumps through the window in his new armour.
Image

A well placed cannon shot starts a grease fire.
Image
Image

The flamethrower proves ineffective.
Image

The sword of attacks claims another victim.
Image

The last of the adventurers gather as the last of the miners gather.
Image
Image

The CC master is killed with ease.
Image

The farmer charges the dwarf.
Image
Image

The farmer them charges my hero as Protoman kills the sword hobo. the farmer is killed with the sword of attacks.
Image

"Sir, I think we should lock this weapon away as it is far too..."
Image

"What are?" *Bang*
Image
Image

The last survivor walks awayu with spoils of war.
