While I was waiting for some things to be done, I decided to divide up all the empires taking part to there own battlefields, and started adding ships to the Bavaria orbit shard. I'm currently missing ships for Emeria, who are slated to fight here, but they can be added later. The pic is worth sharing now, as I can talk about how players will get there forces in the game.

I have decided on 4 squadrons total for everyone (with exceptions, but this applies mostly). A squadron will consist of one of your factions best capital ships, that is your top battleship/carrier, and 4 escorts if it's a battleship, and 2 escorts if it's a carrier. Super Capitals count as a squadron in there own right, so if an empire is bringing one, they can expect to lose those ships. Due to the massive variance in the strength of supers, this isn't perfectly balanced, but close enough.

Every players forces are spread out between 2-3 shards, for example, Scythia has two squadrons in the Zugkraftsburg shard, and 2 squadrons (one being it's super) in the Vanderheim shard. Each turn, a player can activate 1 squadron in each shard, for emphasis You can only use one squadron of ships per turn in each individual shard you are fighting in. I'm not going to force you to alternate between your squadrons, so if you want to keep using the same one over, feel free to. There are exceptions, but I'll be flagging them as and when necessary.

Force Allocation Can Be Found:Here. As usual it's in a nice spreadsheet. 'S' refers to a super, while numbers refer to normal squadrons.

5!...4!...3!...2!...1!... TRIPLE-POSTS ARE GO!

OK, I'm currently going to try and get back in gear, so that means to stop adding more 'work' to my current pile. So from now on, soft-signups are closed, that means I am not accepting more factions into the fight. Don't despair, if I've had any exchange with you in which I've confirmed you can join, then even If I don't have your ships yet, you're still in. Also, there are many 'disowned' groups waiting for someone to claim ownership for the battle, so keep your eyes peeled.

I'll be joining this. I'll finish my navy in a few days (everything got deleted for some reason.) Dilanski, can you pm your email for when I'm done?

Add yourself here. Also, the old wiki is good, or just a public dropbox is good for these ships.

I still don't see my ship stats on the public spreadsheet. Also, I added a T.L.A. battleship to the wiki, so you should probably add it to the fleet.

Yeah, I tried using the wiki, but it defeated me. I could not figure out how to upload.

Sorry, if I might sound impatient, but when will the first battle occur, after all?

OK, here comes the ultimatum. It turns out, I've had 2 weeks cut off my expected deadline. At that point, any battle I've started will grind to a crawl, as simply I'd have other priorities, and finding 4 odd hours a week to do this would simply not happen.

Now, as It stands, I have 3 battles ready to start. They are highlighted in red here. The only factions which wouldn't be taking part are MASS, and about 3 others that weren't around when I built my spreadsheet empire. Although, many people would have an unbalanced force.

The choice is simple, I pull the trigger now, get 'signup' running, and anyone who wanted to be in but isn't gets first dibs on anyone who misses the 72 hour signup window. In which case I'd have Exactly 7 weeks to do this battle. There would also be the possibility of adding battles along the way.

So, I'm throwing it to the floor, do I start, or do I try and squeeze in a few more battles before we start, but risk spiralling out, and never actually starting the battle.

Just do it now dude, I was just talking to brikwhore about trying to rework the Edinburgh mk-II, but I won't be able to do it in time for the battle. So I will present the Mk-II afterwards.

Lessons learned from the trials of combat and all that.

Reminds me to get back onto my shot at a 'First Rate'. I came up with a backstory for them too good not to use.

Hold your horses, signup isn't now. Although the jump towards it will mean I'll get it up ASAP.
