Re: Centaur
I think the body might be looking a little too wide with real bricks.

Re: Centaur
Yeah, that's a compromise I'll just have to live with at this small scale. The plates are necessary to cover up the internals and make it look more organic on the whole.
Re: Centaur
What if you use a 2x3 brick, attach the tail at the end, and use peg-legs with studs for the legs?
Re: Centaur
What would that look like but with a horse tail?

Re: Centaur
Not much different I'd think! I don't really like the looks in hindsight, feels too petite.

Looks good to me, definitely good part usage here. Does Lego make those Unikitty tails in black, or is that just a LDD thing?

Nope, not yet at least. The best pick is dark gray right now, but I'm keeping fingers crossed!
Re: Centaur
I thought they were tan too? You could do brown body with tan hair and tail?Zahru II wrote:Nope, not yet at least. The best pick is dark gray right now, but I'm keeping fingers crossed!

Re: Centaur
Oh sure, that's not outruled yet either. For the sake of variance I could see myself going for three different colorschemes in total.
Re: Centaur
My take on the centaur based on this. Thoughts?

Maybe some kind of bricks could cover up the side/front part that shows where the leg connects to the bars.
